Em “Futebol de Cego”, a cegueira deixa de ser atributo psicológico, fisiológico ou metafórico de alguém. Ela passa para o próprio regime do jogo. “Cego” é o modo de funcionamento de um futebol em que o acerto já não depende da soberania do olhar.
Por isso a letra insiste: o povo grita, o chefe diz, a bola some — e ainda assim o chute acerta.
O povo grita como massa sonora, torcida, pressão de campo. O chefe diz como comando, como palavra de ordem, como posição de quem supõe ver melhor. A bola, centro visível do futebol, desaparece. E o gesto continua.
“A bola sumiu! Chuto assim mesmo e acerto.”
Essa é a violência filosófica da canção: o acerto não vem depois de uma visão mais clara; vem quando a visão já falhou como garantia. O corpo escreve com o pé uma trajetória que só se torna plenamente visível depois do gesto.
