This weekend members of the RPD team made its way 🛫to 🎰 Las Vegas for the annual session. They had a great time connecting with colleagues, former team members, and vendors from around the country. We were once again reminded of how great a program we have. We are so grateful to be part of this family.
We capped off our trip with by taking in the BTS concert. Now to catch up on sleep 😴 and to soak these sore feet 🦶.
We hope to help host the conference next year when the conference return to Washington, D.C. We hope to see you there!

Last fall we started the school year expecting to have 1 high school intern. By the end of the fall we had 3 and by the 2nd semester 2 more had found us. We are excited that they are all going to study STEM with a few looking to careers in dentistry and dental hygiene. They have brought so much fun, energy, and positivity to the office. Although this is their last week, we will miss them, but are excited for the journey before them.

Last Tuesday, the program celebrated the 4th year dental 🦷🧚🏫 students in the peds clerkship program. These 8 students were selected last summer as rising seniors to be a part of this program.
Since then, all 8 have graduated 👩🎓👨🎓and will be starting a peds residency in July. We are proud of them and know they will represent the university and the profession well. We hope they are able to get a short break before they begin their residency programs.
The peds dentists at RPD, Drs. Alshami, Horng, and Kim want to congratulate these dentists on a job well done. We look forward to working with many of you later this summer. Feel free to reach out if you need anything!

Yesterday was the last day of class for students at 🦷🧚🏫UMSOD. During the day we had soon to be soon to be dental school graduate 👩🎓 dropped by to visit and the RPD team. Coincidentally, we also had predental student shadow as she prepares for the opening of the dental school application cycle.
In the evening attended the UMSOD c/o 2027 fundraiser at Orioles vs. Yankees 🏟️⚾️baseball game. While in Baltimore, he caught up briefly with a few dental students. It was niice to see them relax after another semester of dental school.
RPD wants to congratulate 🎉UMSOD dental and dental hygiene students on the successful completion of another school year. We hope you have a fantastic summer!

We hope you had a wonderful 💫 Happy Mother’s Day! RPD would like to extend special Mother’s Day wishes to the mother’s at RPD that help keep us running. They set a great example for our interns, team members, and doctors with their patience, kindness, and love.
In particular, we would like to thank team members Yumi and Yuki because they are the moms that help train and teach many of our new team members. They are the people at RPD that our newest team members spend the most time with. We are grateful for their help in training the next generation of oral health care professionals.

Today was teaching day at the UMSOD 🦷🧚🏫. He had the honor of working with 2nd ✌️year peds 👧👦🦷 resident and chief resident on her last OR cases as a resident.
They had a fantastic day. 2 cases done and done well. Dr. White-Valencia was so efficient on her day that the anesthesia and nursing team were effusive in their praise of her. It was so nice to hear so many nice words of encouragement as she was saying her goodbyes.
Great job Dr. Melisa 👏! I hope you will always remember this day. Only a couple months to go! Finish strong 💪!
We look forward to catching up again at AAPD Las Vegas later this month.
