Me acompanhou ao piano quando eu tinha 12 anos de idade e me deu aula de regência e me preparou para o concurso Jovem Maestro da OSESP em 1994. Eleazar de Carvalho o respeitava muito e dizia que ele tirava um som lindo da orquestra, um “Som Escuro”. Muitas qualidades e muito querido. Muitas risadas juntos e muitos jantares no Restaurante Forchetta d’Oro, ao lado de sua casa onde sempre teve um prato em sua homenagem, o Cochiglione alla Maestro Tibiriçá. Desde sua inauguração, em 12 de setembro de 1911, o Theatro Municipal atravessou transformações profundas de São Paulo e do Brasil. Recebeu grandes nomes da música, da ópera e da dança, foi palco da Semana de Arte Moderna de 1922 e viu nascer corpos artísticos fundamentais para a cultura da cidade.
Essa história também foi construída por gerações de músicos, cantores, bailarinos, maestros, técnicos e funcionários que mantêm o Municipal vivo todos os dias. Hoje, seus corpos artísticos seguem essa trajetória sob a liderança de nomes como Roberto Minczuk, Hernán Sánchez Arteaga e Maíra Ferreira.
Para mim, esta homenagem tem um significado especial. Faço parte do Coro Lírico Municipal desde 2011. São 15 anos entrando por essas portas, ensaiando, cantando naquele palco e vivendo uma parte importante da minha própria história como músico.
O mais bonito é perceber que essa história não terminou. Novos artistas, novas obras e novos públicos continuam escrevendo seus próximos capítulos.
Esta é a homenagem do Clube da Música Clássica a uma das instituições culturais mais importantes do Brasil.
