We were surprised to see nobody around. It was just us and the sheep on a beautiful sunny day. Looked even more gorgeous with the snow.
Edlingham Castle is a medieval fortified manor in Northumberland, England. Dating mainly from the 14th century, it features a striking solar tower, gatehouse remains, and defensive earthworks set in a quiet rural valley. Though now in ruins, it clearly shows the evolution from a noble residence to a fortified stronghold.
We loved how balanced everything was, especially the dessert bowls and bubble tea, which arenât overly sweet. Love that they have a savoury menu as well which is just as tempting, with rice and noodle bowls, gyoza and egg pancake rolls. There is something for everyone!
We tried the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, mango sago bowl, classic milk tea dessert bowl, egg roll, gyoza and their oreo and brown sugar bubble tea, and didnât have any complaints.

The menu celebrates both South Indian and North Indian cuisine, offering something for everyone. We started with a taste of their mixed grill, along with classic vada, dosa, and mutton sukka.
For mains, the mutton kulambu with parotta was a standout â a comforting South Indian classic done perfectly. We also loved the fragrant Malabar biryani and the richly spiced prawns masala.
To finish, their strong South Indian filter coffee was the perfect pick-me-up. A great spot if youâre looking for authentic Indian food in East London.

For dessert, we treated ourselves to chai crÚme brûlée and kulfi, before finishing the meal with a comforting cup of masala chai. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented.
They also offer a festive menu for Christmas Day which you have to pre-book.
Itâs definitely one to check out if youâre looking for a beautiful Indian spot in London.
