When we learn bachata we dance to assumed bongos. Assumed bongos are where we move our feet and begin dancing to the tempo/rhythm of the bongos without actually ever hearing it. The crazy part is, as we continue down this journey we generally never stop to check or re-evaluate what exactly are we dancing to. The bongo roll is such a fun way for the bongos to really bring our attention to the fact that they are there❣️but can we actually listen and follow their rhythm after?
