Rinkoff’s is an 114 year old East London institution that serves amazing fresh bagels, sandwiches, cookies & cronuts. It was founded by Hyman Rinkoff, a Ukrainian immigrant feeling persecution in Kyviv.
He started his small shop on Old Montague Street, before it quickly became an East London institution! And you can tell how popular it is today… when I was there someone picked up huge bagel box for their office, a local dropped off a gift for the staff and a couple were celebrating a birthday with a bagel. A real, warm fuzzy feeling when you leave.
Also, one of those rare places that actually has a proper authentic salt beef bagel that’s halal.
