The iconic GC10 Nissan Skyline “Hakosuka” is a long way from the inline-six powered coupe it left the factory as.
Built by Banzai Racing, the classic Skyline has been completely re-engineered around a
2.6-litre 26B four-rotor rotary engine — Mazda’s most extreme rotary configuration.
In naturally aspirated form the engine produced around 416 horsepower at 7,500 rpm, with expectations of pushing close to 500 horsepower at 9,000 rpm once fully developed.
The chassis has also been extensively reworked with a custom tube front end and widened overflares, along with KW coilovers, a Wisefab steering angle kit, and a Winters quick-change differential. While the build looks like something destined for a show floor, the car has also seen time out on drift days..

The exterior was completely handmade by Souki, based on the concept of a Japanese-American road racer that incorporates a lowrider feel into the traditional Japanese road racer. The suspension is made by Universal Air and the wheels are SSR mk3 11jj. This world-famous road racer is famous for a YouTube video in 2016 in which then-Red Bull racing drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen drove this Skyline through the streets of Tokyo. After being invited to numerous car shows in Japan, this is its first time in the US.
