Dit seizoen draait om de psychiatrie een onderwerp dat voor mij persoonlijk een grote en belangrijke rol is gaan spelen in mijn leven. Want wat je aan de buitenkant ziet, zegt lang niet altijd iets over wat er vanbinnen gebeurt.
Juist daarom ben ik extra trots dat ik in dit seizoen een andere kant van mezelf mag laten zien. Ik geloof dat het ontzettend belangrijk is dat we opener worden over mentale gezondheid. Het is namelijk niet iets waar je voor kiest, maar wel iets waar zoveel mensen dagelijks mee te maken hebben.
Ik heb lang getwijfeld om hier open over te zijn. Maar na deze rol voelt het alsof dit precies is wat ik moet doen: bijdragen aan meer bewustzijn, en misschien zelfs anderen het gevoel geven dat ze niet alleen zijn.
Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie ervan gaan vinden. Voor mij is dit seizoen in ieder geval iets heel moois en vooral iets heel waardevols.
