Josh Bonar will return for the 2026–27 season as Head Coach of the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 Prep team. Coming off a CSSHL Championship last season, Josh has his group performing at the top again—currently sitting in 1st place—by keeping the focus where it belongs: daily habits, standards, and real development.
Josh specializes in skill development and is relentless about helping players build the tools that translate to higher levels—skating details, puck skill, decision-making, and the ability to execute under pressure. Just as importantly, he does an outstanding job preparing athletes for the next step, consistently getting players ready to play Junior hockey through strong structure, clear expectations, and a high-compete environment.
A steady, detail-driven leader, Josh brings a consistent presence to the rink: high standards, honest communication, and a coach who is fully invested in the growth of every student-athlete. RHA Kelowna is proud to have Josh back behind the bench, continuing to raise the standard for our U18 Prep program and driving a culture built on earned success.

Throughout the weekend, participants will take part in a variety of sessions, including a specialized skill development session led by a RINK Development Coach(es), as well as a full practice run by an NCAA or U SPORTS-level coach. In addition, each athlete is guaranteed four games over the course of the event.
