I’m always so grateful to have the opportunity to move my body, challenge my ❤️ & pick up something heavy over and over again.

P.s. guess which 💪 of mine is in need of mending?
“Oh wow, this model looks like me!” That comment made me pause. It wasn’t just about a model, it was about him being seen in a medical space.
We can’t assume which anatomy someone relates to or identifies with. Instead, offer options, ask, let them guide.
Because when patients can actually see themselves in what you’re explaining, their understanding improves and trust builds.
It doesn’t have to be a perfect match to be meaningful.
Representation is part of good care.
What are your thoughts?
P.s. don’t me, yes there is a 🤏 muscles missing on my vulvar model, I dropped & broke it years ago. I love that it’s a little asymmetrical, just like our bods! 🙂
no, seriously… that’s the exercise 🫠
your glutes, abs, shoulders, eyebrows, and pelvic floor don’t need to hold on for dear life 24/7
always grippin’ ≠ always strong
nagging hip or low back pain?
core fatigue throughout the day?
glutes cappin’ out during workouts?
pelvic pain? leakage? heaviness?
this could be why 👀
Do your bod a favor and in the words of and / Elsa:
Let them, and let it go. ☺️
Or, HOW and WHEN to coordinate them.
⏱️Thankfully, pelvic floor awareness and timing are trainable skills in the rehab wheelhouse.

Strength matters, but it may not be the symptom source.
Sometimes symptoms like leakage, pelvic heaviness or pain reflect fatigue, mood, lack of fuel, movement setup, training load, breathing patterns, strength reserve or how your whole body is managing pressure and movement.
Pelvic rehab focuses on understanding YOUR specific presentation and building a plan that aligns with your goals, not just handing out generic exercises.
You don’t have to simply live with symptoms. Support is alwaaaaaays available when you’re ready! 💁♀️

🤣I accidentally left this pregnancy pillow front-and-center at the coworking space I treat out of last night. You can imagine the 🤔faces of the marketing teams and engineers that rolled into work before I arrived this AM.
This is one of my favorite prenatal tools because it allows prone positioning for:
✨ manual therapy
✨ dry needling
✨ cupping
✨ posterior chain treatment
Many patients tell me it’s the first time they’ve been on their stomach in months… and the RELIEF is immense 🥹
Being pregnant doesn’t have to limit your care. There are far more treatment and exercise options than most people realize.
