WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY? 💬
★★★★★ “I own several top selvedge Denim but this one is very particular. Soft and crispy, heavy but very comfort. Every Denim lovers need a secret black by Oni.” - Benoit M.
★★★★★ “ONI is the best. Iron Heart, Samurai and Studio D’artisan are awesome but ONI delivers on texture levels like no other. These jeans have an amazing soft yet rugged feel, perfect for the cooler and colder months. ONI denim often stretches at the waist after wear, so keep at least an extra inch in mind when picking your size.” - Stephen.

This isn’t just another pair of jeans. It’s the result of a trip to Japan, working side by side with Oishi-San—and something many of you have been asking us about for a long time 👀
👖 A fit truly designed for women

🇯🇵 14oz low-tension Japanese selvedge denim
🔘 Classic button fly for a timeless finish
We know how hard it is to find high-quality denim that actually fits the female body—most options are still based on men’s patterns. The L700 changes that, offering a more flattering and comfortable silhouette without losing ONI’s signature character.
So many of you have reached out asking for women’s jeans—for yourselves, your partners, your friends… This one is for you 🫵

Founded in 1940 in Kojima, Big John is one of the true pioneers of Japanese denim 🇯🇵 Originally established as Maruo Clothing, the company played a key role in shaping Japan’s denim industry—producing the country’s first domestically made jeans and later becoming the first to develop selvedge denim using slub yarn.
Our first delivery features two of the brand’s signature fabrics: the XXXX 15.8oz selvedge denim and the Yoshidenim Wild Duck Jeans, alongside a premium 2-pack of loopwheel T-shirts 👕✨
Garments crafted with intention—where both denim and essentials are not just worn, but consciously made.
Happy #fadefriday!
Each piece is crafted from 15.7oz sanforized selvedge denim, featuring a pure indigo rope-dyed warp and a Kakishibu-dyed weft 🧡 a traditional Japanese tannin dye made from unripe persimmon fruit.
Built on Momotaro’s #100 Straight – developed during the brand’s rebranding–, these jeans feature a high rise, comfortable room through the thighs, and an almost nonexistent taper from the knee down. In our opinion, it’s their most balanced straight fit to date.
We believe this Limited Edition is a truly special addition to any denim collection. The result of months of development and meticulous attention to detail 👖✨
