If there’s any way to get the ice and windrows and snow away it’s dynamite! But that’s just a Cheap Trick….. no but in all seriousness, when we came across this re issue we were floored! After the Nazz, and before there were any Cheap Tricks, there was a Fuse! Recruitment of Nazz brought 2 members in Fuse, and by 1973 the band would split to form Cheap Trick. With a blend of killer Psychdelic Soul, Fuse would bring meaning to the very word and bless us with this Heavy Prog Rock masterpiece that would ultimately usher a new sound into the 70s, with the release being on Epic Records, in 1970.

One well written review from Discogs! “Petersson and Nielsen came together after FUSE to form Cheap Trick, but this is - just my opinion - a much tighter, more punchy, creative band than Cheap Trick ever was. The guitar riffs, drumming, and vocals have the quality of a decades-seasoned professional band. A one album wonder band that deserves to be part of any self-respecting early hard rock collection. All killer, no filler.”
Absolutely beautiful mid 70s copy of one of the most classic Psycedelic Folk masterpieces ever made, Sunshine Superman! From one of the greatest songs of all time in Season Of The Witch, to well planned out song writing, this album holds up extremely well in 2026!

Wiki - “Whilst still incorporating folk music, these recordings mark a distinct change in Donovan’s music, representing some of the first psychedelia released. A full rock band backs up Donovan on many of the songs, and the instrumentation had been expanded, being one of the first pop albums extensively to use the sitar, bouzouki, electric violin and other unique musical instruments. This change is partially the result of working with producer Mickie Most, whose pop sensibilities led to chart hits for many other artists at the time, as well as arranger John Cameron. The album’s lyrical content encompasses Donovan’s increasing ability to portray Swinging London and give listeners an insider’s look into the mid-sixties pop scene. Donovan’s penchant for name-dropping in songs such as those influenced by his stay in Los Angeles, “The Trip” and “The Fat Angel”, recount his association with other big rock stars of the day which when coupled with his chart success helped elevate him to superstar status. Contrasting this modern bent was Donovan’s fascination with medieval themes in songs such as “Legend of a Girl Child Linda” and “Guinevere”, which would greatly influence the coming hippie and flower-power movements. Above all, Donovan’s infatuation with Linda Lawrence and the pain of their recent breakup colors nearly every track; he would eventually win her back and the two would marry in 1970.”

Flavor packed Hip Hop collection came in the other day! Some OGs, most are 2nd pressings inside the 90s, some of which are bootlegs, and some are early 2000s re issues, with the out of the 90s albums being 2nd press ala MM FOOD! From a DJ collection with a little bit of use but overall the collections in playable condition!
North Wing Switch over!!

A couple years ago, we did the unthinkable, we moved our in store warehouse to accommodate another room for retail, and at the time it was considered for audio, however we discussed and created an alternative plan, one that is finally coming to fruition beginning this week! Big changes are in store for RCP for 2026, and we are super excited to share the process with all of you over the next few weeks… currently, as pictured, you might notice an influx of Classical records in North Wing. It is now the new forever home for Classical and Country records! More on that soon, but for now, check out this restock of classic rock pop records including a massive dump of Led Zeppelin albums!
Another wild gem from the recent smaller but powerful VHS music collection was this George Lynch guitar demonstration video! George Lynch, of Dokken and Lynch Mob, also taught guitar, and fun fact, in 1979 prior to the release of Dokkens debut album, George auditioned for Ozzy’s lead guitar role but ultimately lost to Randy Rhoads. This rare tape, complete with the even more rare booklet, George excitingly demonstrates shapes, tapping, string skipping, vibrato techniques, whammy bar effects, and several favorite licks! Included is some awesome footage of George and fellow Lynch Mob band mates at their Los Angeles recording studio as they create solo overdubs for the upcoming Lynch Mob album Wicked Sensation! Excellent shape and plays great!
More awesome 90s music VHS! This time from the likes of Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, and more! Colorful, vibrant, LOUD, and seldom scene! Time to grab some music VHS while the gettings good!
Holy grail alert 🚨
• Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland
• Original Oct 25th 1968 UK Press Track Record Blue Text
• Brought in by a dear friend of the store, who is the original 1st and only owner of the LP! Included is a hilarious story of how he first bought the album! This copy is actually in excellent condition, fully cleaned on the VPI and play tested. The pressing quality is remarkable, and makes up for the minimal light scuffs and surface noise, which almost fully came out after the cleaning! This copy sounds amazing and comes highly recommended!
Awesome collection of Hip Hop VHS tapes for the tape heads! From BDP to Public Enemy to Beastie Boys!
My name is Dolemite, mutha whaaaaat!! If you are unaware of Rudy Ray Moore aka Dolemite, check out the fantastic biopic done by Eddie Murphy in 2019, titled My Name Is Dolemite, about the life and success of Rudy Ray Moore, the comedian/musician/actor! Rudy was best known for his Blaxploitation films portraying the fictional pimp Dolemite, which came from a local street poet on the LA scene (after moving from Greenwich Village and inspiring Bob Dylan), on his stand up routines and early comedy records. Most of what you find on the comedy records are profanity filled rhyme poetry, in which this history gave him the moniker Godfather Rap! During the 50s and early 60s, Rudy recorded R&B music for various labels such as Federal, Cash, Ball, Kent, and Imperial, among others. Here we have a couple staples in Rudy Ray Moore’s discography, from another unassuming collection! First up we have Eat Out More Often, (about the benefits of going out to restaurants with loved ones and good company obviously), one of the most well known RRM albums, first album in his comeback in the 70s, and also featured in the Eddie Murphy movie, including the scene on the album cover (hilarious!) Some copies have alternate cover art with a blank white cover, text, and a Devil stamp. Rumours are there were copies made personally with a stamp on the cover, as noted in the movie! Second up we have The Rudy Ray Moore Album, Dolemite For President. Both copies are original and we hardly ever see them up here!
