I finally am upgrading my Royal which was an incredible first board! It was a rocker board, so it was forgiving in helping me learn the basics. Now, that I’ve progressed from beginner to intermediate, I definitely wanted a new board to challenge me in all the right ways!
I picked up the new Wonder! This has a hybrid camber profile, so I’ll definitely need to pick my edges, but also am going way faster and more comfortable down slopes. It has a little more fun and pop on some tricks.
I’ve only been riding on it for a few days, but I can already tell it took way too long to get a new board to progress my riding. 😌

1. In 2024, I started trail running with at the old Corte Madera location. I always loved going to challenge myself on the trail and seeing familiar faces. I was asked to shoot for a running event and I had to say yes even when I was scared. Pushing yourself to do the things you’ve always wanted to was the motto for this year. At this event, I felt like this is exactly what I love to do. Shooting photos and capturing such joy in the outdoors!
2. Flew to Indonesia and I wasn’t even sure what I’d get myself into here, but I absolutely loved shooting this. Having the best time relaxing poolside and being out in nature. 2 weeks in Indonesia and we started to mimick the geckos that were hiding in our rooms, hiking to volcanoes, big flowing waterfalls, and talking to so many locals. An incredibly beautiful country and solidifying that Southeast Asia is the best!
3. Shooting for Smartwool was an absolute pleasure and my biggest surprise in trusting Mother Nature to deliver. I felt incredibly lucky snow fell in the Sierra for me to capture these beautiful photos.
4. I got to shoot another fun running event with x. Thank you to my friend for encouraging me and I loved seeing her in her element. I’m always so proud of people pushing towards doing what they love or sharing a part of themselves into an unexpected setting.
5. I started running again. It felt like I needed it the most when I felt the most down. It led me to! It challenged me in running and photography! I asked to shoot photos for them, which helped in my quick photo skills and making sure I captured the best feeling with running.

I’m always so, so thankful that I’m able to travel to all the places I get to see. It’s been a challenging year mentally and physically, so travel was an escape. I didn’t list everywhere I traveled, but these were the big highlights! Snowboarding in Japan, hiking volcanoes and waterfalls in Bali, visiting Ojai and Santa Barbara for the first time, seeing new flowers in Big Sur, and so much more.
I do always love a good trip, and I’m always down for an adventure! If you need a friend to go on a road trip, backpacking trip, or a big international hiking trip, I’m your gal! I’m always down. 😌
I told myself that next year has to be different, and I believe it will be.
I can’t wait to share what I’ll be up to next year and share more amazing places with you, so you can add it to your own adventure list. No matter how small or big a trip is, I always want to be present and immerse myself into the community. I learn so much by researching and understanding as much as I can. Traveling is a huge privilege and I’m so, so grateful I still get to see the world. 🌎

My favorite winter activity since learning how to snowboard 8 years ago! Absolutely love it when winter comes and something to look forward to.
Headed up to Palisades for 2 days! With a few more lifts opening, it felt like opening day! Another year on the Ikon Pass, because those day passes are insane.
Thank you to CalTrans for keeping us moving and the roads safe for everyone! We waited until after the storm and checked the road updates to see if we were able to make it up after the big snow storm.
Only a few lifts open, but I think the next big storm will help open the rest of the mountain hopefully!

If it’s raining in the Bay, there must be snow in the Sierra Mountains! Yosemite covered in a blanket of snow on a sunny day is probably one of my favorite winter type of days.
As we start the beginning of winter, I reflect on how this season can bring light and reflection before the start of the new year. I’m excited to know that I get another fresh start and nervous to know what’s to come next, but so incredibly thankful I get to choose. Choosing where to go next, how I feel, and what kind of life I want to live.

I stayed at the in Hope Valley about 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. The cabins there are super cute and really felt like I was on a winter vacation.
I was welcomed with a champagne and smores by the outdoor fire pit, drank hot cocoa by the cabin fireplace, and even enjoyed a sauna experience.
There are a few hiking trails nearby and a lovely restaurant on the property.
This place has been on my list to visit and I’m so happy I got to see it under a blanket of snow too! ❄️
