Recipe (makes 3):โจ- 150ml Whole Milkโจ- 150ml Double (heavy) Creamโจ- 2 Teabags of your choice (I used English breakfast tea)โจ- 25g Sugarโจ- 2 Gelatine leaves
1) Soak the gelatine leaves in a little cold water until soft.โจAdd milk, cream, sugar and teabags into a hob and bring to a simmer. Using the back of the spoon to squeeze out as much tea goodness.โจ2) Squeeze the water out of the gelatine leaves, then add to the pan and take off the heat. Stir until the gelatine has dissolved.โจ3) Pour into ramekins and place into the fridge for an hour until set.โจ4) To serve, turn each panna cotta out onto a plate. Spoon over some boba that have been marinated in brown sugar.
Matcha no bake cheesecake
- 300g Cream Cheese
- 150ml Double Cream
- 10g Matcha
- 50g Icing or Caster Sugar
1) Whisk the cream cheese until soft, add in the Matcha and Sugar and whisk until combined.
2) In another bowl, whisk up the double cream until soft peaks.
3) Gradually fold the cream into the cheese mix until fully combined.
4) Pour onto cake/biscuit base and set for 3 hours.
Ingredients:
- 2 Tsp Matcha
- 2 Tsp Agar Agar powder
- 20g Caster Sugar
- 450ml Water
1) Stir together 2 Tsp of Matcha with a Tsp of water to create paste.
2) In a hob, add the Water, Sugar, and Agar Agar. Turn on the heat and boil until the sugar is dissolved.
3) Turn off the heat and stir in the Matcha paste.
4) Pour the mixture into a mould or bowl and set in the fridge for 1 hour.
