My first try on astrophotography. Captured in a seashore at Kollam Kerala. I noticed a cluster of stars and I was thinking isn't that what I think it is... I caltured a trial shot pointed directly up in the sky and confirmed my suspicion. Once I understood that I spotted it, I walked along the shores to find a darker area and found this place where I could almost identify the pattern with naked eye. Composing the shot was tricky as sand was too loose and there were some vines, which almost tripped me over. Finally I went for this composition (and few others).

Most of the conversations with smokers have ended up in a few words: "Don't start this habit, it's hard to quit". Those words have definitely came from a relatively older population still in their youth. This image meant nothing while capturing as I was young and I saw how this person smoking created a more than expected smoke coming out in the cold weather. This was buried in my years of footage and recently edited. That's when I thought of the title: "consumed"
