My first convention pretty significant milestone for me! I’m incredibly grateful to have been a part of it 🖤 also I WON 1ST PLACE FOR TRADITIONAL??? Are you kidding me??
I was surrounded by such crazy talent, it was amazing to see sooo many incredible tattoos and see how lucky I am to be part of a community of badass artists. It’s humbling and inspiring. I didn’t even consider entering the competition, but was urged to, so I thought “why not?” (imposter syndrome thought “lol yeah right’) But I can’t deny the fact that you like me!! You really like me!!!
A huge thank you to all of and my mentor for the guidance, support, and for even taking me to this convention and believing in me! To for letting me tattoo fun stuff on her since my apprenticeship and for getting an award winning tattoo (I didn’t realize it would win but she did). And to everyone else who came by to get tattooed, buy an engraved mirror, or just check out my work and grab a sticker, THANK YOU!
I’m really inspired to keep going, keep making art, keep improving my work, and loving every second of it. 🖤🖤🖤 I love tattooing—like, earnestly. My little kid dream was to be an artist. I just wanted to draw pictures for my friends, and that’s literally what I do for a living? And to decorate their bodies permanently? It’s a huge honor that I’ll never take for granted.
