I love this clip, mistakes and all. It honors the moment I was in. I was on a little hill when filming this so I kept falling over into the soft grass. The air was crisp, cold, and smelled like wood smoke. I was in total bliss mode roaming around through stunning valleys, mountain peeks, the bluest waters, old cobblestone homes, where friendly farm animals greeted you at every corner. A dream.

My first year living where snow falls has been incredibly fun and yet so challenging. I enjoyed the coziness that the winter chill brings. Cozy creativity. In love with living with the seasons. At first I was hesitant to enjoy the cold, and the naked trees, but I find something new to appreciate about it everyday. Watching the land become blanketed with fresh snow is absolutely magical. Spring is around the corner and saying hi to all the familiar plant allies sprouting up is something I’m dearly looking forward too. I can’t wait for warmth, swimming in rivers, and munching on wild edible flowers during hikes. Grateful for all these beautiful new experiences.

A mini moment of hooping that I filmed (I never set out to film videos anymore, it usually stresses me out, which is the opposite of what I want when I’m hooping). I’ve been reflecting on my hoop journey lots lately, I have been spinning for 6 years now (maybe longer I don’t even know). This is one of the longest times a craft has stuck with me throughout my life (singing being my 1st and longest love). This art has watched me truly evolve, it has helped me become more social, it has brought me to some of my dearest friends, it has helped me become more accepting of myself and others, it has held me through abusive relationships and watched me overcome them, it has guided me into moments of pure self love, it has gifted me more confidence in being myself, it has watched me fall and then rise again. Spinning isn’t as habitual as it used to be, and that’s okay, the ebb and flow, I’ll come back when I’m ready. So wild how a plastic circle can change the course of my life. Feeling emotionally gooey flipping through my rolodex of memories associated with flow arts. Immense amounts of love and gratitude for this supportive wonderful community.

Forest pixie magic captured by my lover boi 🌱Coming from living in FL my whole life, never experiencing true seasons, and finally having the opportunity to watch winter shift to spring, and now spring bursting into summer, has been wonderfully life changing. This spot we took pictures in mid April that was once dotted with new leaves, trout lillies, may apples, woodland phlox, and every type of trillium, looks nothing like it does today. Now it’s overgrown and lush with wood nettle, spice bush trees, mugwort, mushrooms after a dose of rain, and so much poison ivy lol. Absolutely enamored with the changing seasons, I don’t think it could ever get old. Grateful to explore, learn, and experience everything this new environment has to teach and show me.

It’s been almost 3 months since I made the big move from the Florida beaches to the Appalachian mountains. I’m still in awe I finally did it and feeling so proud of myself for taking this leap. This truly feels like I’m in a waking dream to be living amongst the trees and ever changing seasons. Settling into this new life has been wonderful, stressful, scary, exciting, and pretty much every emotion in between. Currently I’m working on creating healthy routines and grounding myself into this new chapter. It’s a slow gentle process, that I’m allowing to unfold with open arms. The community here is so full of love and I’m feeling at home with them already. I’m so grateful to be alive, all the adventures to be had, and all the connections to be made. 🌱

:::life updates::: I’m moving to North Carolina by the end of the month. I am beyond excited, nervous, grateful, a little sad, and all the emotions in between. I’m going to miss St. Pete. I am gonna miss all my incredible supportive beautiful friends (I love u all so much it’s crazy!!). All the wildlife here (I’m talking to you, dolphins, manatees, street kittens, friendly squirrels, fishies, raccoons, and possums) and all the tropical fruits I get to eat on a daily basis. It’s all magic and I’m so grateful to have been able to live in this area. Toooo the forest I go!! This has been a dream of mine every since I was a little one, to be surrounded by trees, wild flowers, and watch the seasons change. I’m ready to grow more and surprise myself.
