Drive to the foot of #jebelshams in #oman via the Al Ain border crossing.
The drive into the wadi is simply spectacular, I’d go as far to say as it is my favorite offroad trail we have found so far since having the car.
Stay safe in the wadi - do not go in if it is cloudy, the weather looks variable, and definitely not if rain is forecast - it can be dangerous.
The hike is challenging for children and those that aren’t experienced hikers - there are steep climbs and thin ledges - go slowly and only if you’re comfortable with heights and climbing.
The water cave is pretty epic - it’s a natural formation, the water is cold and very refreshing.
