When I put up a question box asking for what you all wanted to see more of from us pretty much everyone said ordinary days/day in the life style content. I thought we’d start with a fun one as we went for a family hike in the Lakes!
Hiking has been a little tricky lately as our 4 year old has started to show some resistance so we try to play games and keep her motivated with snacks. The ice at the bottom of the hike was also a challenge and almost made us turn back but after that very thick section I filmed it was much better (and there was always a way round it).

It feels like an exciting year in many ways. One in which we have a lot of big plans and intentions, but one I also want to take step by step, lower my expectations and move slowly.
I want to reconnect with the nature around me and take more ‘me time’; layer up and get my kids outside, even when it’s hard and share those behind the scenes moments.
I also want to show you a bit more of me again and I have a bit of a plan to vlog more (though haven’t picked up the camera yet) 😆

This was our second stay at Forest Holidays to round off the year and what a special one! We started with a trip to Ardgarten Argyll when our baby was only 2 months old and ended with beautiful Glentress with a 10 month old.
