The exhibition features playful takes on familiar characters as well as more personal and reflective works. It shows how anime can be more than just entertainment, it can tell stories, express emotions, and create connections.
When I was in elementary school, my father and I would watch anime together after class. They were small, ordinary moments, yet they became some of my most treasured memories. Sometimes, before riding his tricycle to work, he’d even catch an episode with me. These pieces are a quiet tribute to those times, and to the characters that helped shape my childhood.
