Like many photographers, I too dreamed of having my work featured in especially in a timeless hard copy. That dream has come true for me, twice!
Exactly a year ago, I received an email from the NatGeo team about licensing one of my aerial shots for their book âWorld From Above,â set to release in Fall â24. Fast forward 365 days, and today, the book is finally in my hands. What are the odds? Haha. Some things are just meant to align perfectly!
Another proud moment was when Magazine selected one of my images for their Big Picture feature which is a double-page spread that left me speechless.
As someone whoâs been capturing the world from above for over a decade, getting recognized for what I love fills my heart with gratitude and joy.

In addition to the insightful discussions and engaging conversations with wildlife experts, the highlight of the evening was meeting the Ambanis and personally explaining my image to them. Mr. Mukesh Ambaniâs thoughtful gesture of pledging support and raising awareness for the situation at Pallikaranai marshland made the experience even more meaningful. It was truly an unforgettable evening, though I deeply missed having by my side.
I canât forget the outstanding hospitality provided by the NMACC team, from the smooth travel and accommodation arrangements to the exclusive dinner and more throughout the event.

I am so glad to let you all know that my image "Ashes of Wetland" has recieved a highly commended award in Wetlands category!
Of about 50000 entries from 95 countries, I'm honoured my image made it to the final 6 in this category.
Thanks to jury for the selection and I only hope this recognition will bring awareness about this most ignored issue globally and photographs like this are becoming a medium to educate people and young minds.
