झाला बीदा को झाला मान या झाला मन्ना के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। झाला मान का जन्म 15 मई 1542 ई. को राजराणा सूरताण सिंह जी एवं रानी सेसकंवर के यहां हुआ। झाला बीदा हलवद (गुजरात) के मकवाना राजपूतों के वंशज थे।
उनके पूर्वज झाला अज्जा एवं सज्जा हलवद से म��वाड़ आ गए। महाराणा सांगा ने उन्हें अजमेर की जागीर प्रदान की। खानवा के युद्ध में राणा सांगा के बुरी तरह घायल होने पर अज्जा जी ने राणा सांगा के राजछत्र धारण कर युद्ध का मोर्चा संभाला और वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए। कहते है कि अज्जा जी की 7 पीढ़ियों ने मेवाड़ और मेवाड़ महाराणा की रक्षा हेतु अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी। झाला सरदार मेवाड़ के अव्वल दर्जे के ठिकानेदार थे एवं इन्हे राजराणा की उपाधि प्रदान की गई थी।
झाला बीदा भी अज्जा जी के वंशज थे, जो महाराणा प्रताप के समकालीन थे एवम् उनके सामंत/ठिकानेदार थे। वे झाडोल के शासक थे। कालांतर में इन्हीं के वंशजों को बड़ीसादड़ी ठिकाना प्रदान किया गया जहां एक राजमहल है।
हल्दीघाटी युद्ध से पहले जब कच्छवाहा मानसिंह 1000 सैनिकों के साथ शिकार खेलते-खेलते महाराणा प्रताप के पड़ाव के नजदीक पहुंच गया तो एक भील गुप्तचर ने इसकी सूचना महाराणा प्रताप को दी।
सभी सामन्तों ने मानसिंह पर हमला करने का प्रस्ताव रखा, पर झाला मान ने इस प्रस्ताव का ये कहकर विरोध किया कि हमें मानसिंह को धोखे से पराजित नहीं करना चाहिए।
हल्दीघाटी के युद्ध (18 जून 1576) में झाला मान नाम के दो व्यक्ति थे जिनमें से एक अज्जा जी के वंशज अज्जावत झाला मान (झाड़ोल/सादड़ी) एवम् दूसरे सज्जा जी के वंशज सज्जावत झाला मान (देलवाड़ा) थे। अज्जावत झाला मान ही झाला बीदा थे । जब युद्ध में महाराणा प्रताप को मुगल सेना ने घेर लिया एवं वे तथा चेटक घायल हो गए तो राजराणा झाला बीदा ने महाराणा मेवाड़ के राज धारण कर मुगलों से युद्ध किया। ऐसा कहते है कि झाला बीदा की कद काठी महाराणा प्रताप सी थी इसलिए मुगल सेना उन्हें प्रताप समझ कर युद्ध करती रही और महाराणा प्रताप सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुंच गए। झाला बीदा वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए। जिस स्थान पर महाराणा प्रताप को झाला बीदा की मृत्यु का समाचार मिला वहां हरिहर मंदिर था महाराणा प्रताप ने उस स्थान का नाम बिदराणा रखा जो कालांतर में बदराणा हुआ।
इसी बलिदान के कारण महाराणा प्रताप मेवाड़ (चित्तौड़ को छोड़कर) को आजाद करा पाए।

झाला मान ही झाला बीदा थे । हल्दीघाटी के युद्ध (18 जून 1576) में जब महाराणा प्रताप को मुगल सेना ने घेर लिया एवं वे तथा चेटक घायल हो गए तो राजराणा झाला बीदा ने महाराणा मेवाड़ के राज चिन्ह धारण कर मुगलों से युद्ध किया। ऐसा कहते है कि झाला बीदा की कद काठी महाराणा प्रताप सी थी इसलिए मुगल सेना उन्हें प्रताप समझ कर युद्ध करती रही और महाराणा प्रताप सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुंच गए। झाला बीदा वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए। इसी बलिदान के कारण महाराणा प्रताप मेवाड़ (चित्तौड़ को छोड़कर) को आजाद करा पाए।

शीतला सप्तमी की शुभकामनाएं 🙏🏻
चैत्र मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की सप्तमी को शीतला सप्तमी पर्व मनाया जाता है। कही – कही यह त्योहार अष्टमी को भी मनाया जाता हैं। इसमें शीतला माता का व्रत और पूजन किया जाता है।
शीतला सप्तमी से जुड़े कई लोक गीत है। उसी में से एक है – सीली सीतला ओ माँय, सरवर पूजती घर आय, ठँडा भुजिया चढाय, सरवर पूजती घर आय – इसी प्रकार सभी व्यंजनों के नाम लिए जाते जो माता रानी की भोग के लिए बनाये जाते है। इस दिन ठंडा भोजन खाए जाने का रिवाज है इसका धार्मिक कारण तो यह है कि शीतला मतलब जिन्हे ठंडा अतिप्रिय है। इसीलिए शीतला देवी को प्रसन्न करने के लिए उन्हें ठंडी चीजों का भोग लगाया जाता है।
ऐसी मान्यता है कि शीतला सप्तमी व्रत को करने से व्यक्ति के पूरे परिवार में दाह ज्वर, पीत ज्वर, फोड़े-फुंसी, आंखों के सारे रोग, माता की फुंसियों के निशान और शीतलाजनित सारे दोष ठीक हो जाते हैं। शीतला माता हर तरह के पापों का नाश करती हैं और अपने भक्तों के तन-मन को शीतल करती हैं। इस पर्व को 'बास्योड़ा' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
'बास्योड़ा' का अर्थ है- 'बासी भोजन'। इस दिन घर में ताजा भोजन नहीं बनाया जाता। एक दिन पहले ही भोजन बनाकर रख देते हैं। फिर दूसरे दिन प्रात:काल महिलाओं द्वारा शीतला माता का पूजन करने के बाद माता को भी बासी यानी ठंडे भोजन का ही भोग लगाया जाता है और घर के सभी व्यक्ति भी बासी भोजन ही खाते हैं। इस दिन घर में चूल्हा नहीं जलता।ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस दिन के बाद से बासी खाना खाना बंद कर दिया जाता है।ये ऋतु का अंतिम दिन होता है जब बासी खाना खा सकते हैं।
शीतला स्तोत्र में माता शीतला का जो स्व��ूप बताया गया है, वह माता के रोगी के लिए बहुत मददगार है। इसमें कहा गया है कि शीतला गर्दभ पर सवार रहती हैं। सूप (छाज) झाड़ (माजर्नी) और नीम के पत्तों से अलंकृत हैं और हाथ में शीतल जलघट उठाए हुए हैं। इस व्रत को करने का बहुत महत्व है माना जाता है की सनातन परंपरा के अनुसार महिलाएं अपने बच्चों की सलामती, आरोग्यता व घर में सुख-शांति के लिए बास्योड़ा बनाकर शीतला माता की पूजा करती हैं।
