Looking back to 2015, I was 24 and the world of social media and aesthetic injecting looked completely different. I was a fresh nursing school graduate with zero experience but a massive passion for this craft and it wasn’t always easy.
My first training was actually quite discouraging. I had a trainer who showed disapproval of me not working years at the bedside first and even sent a hurtful message questioning my integrity after I excitedly reposted before and after photos my model sent me and encouraged me to share, claiming I was “stealing.” It was the least welcoming energy for someone just starting and made me question the type of ‘community’ I was entering.
But with every bad experience comes significant growth. That discouragement is exactly why I am so passionate about my role today as a National Trainer for Galderma and a private trainer for new and established injectors. I’m now in a position to give new injectors the confidence, support, and empowerment that I didn’t always receive.
Many of you saw the “highlight reel,” but behind the scenes, I was:
• Finishing my first Master’s degree.
• Working at three different MedSpas while pulling bedside nursing shifts on the weekends.
• Going back to school for my Nurse Practitioner degree while pregnant.
• Opening my first 100 sq. ft. suite in January 2020—just two months before the world shut down.
During COVID, I was working bedside on Sundays and Mondays and injecting the rest of the week, all while navigating being a new mom.
Fast forward to now: that tiny suite has grown into a beautiful office with four treatment rooms and an incredible team. I am able to be the present mom I wanted to be for my three kids while doing the work I love every single day.
Whether you’ve been in my chair once, refer your friends to us, or simply follow along - you are the reason this is possible. Your trust is something I never take for granted.
