The waterline sitting seamlessly across the wet deck is supported by a concealed 20,000-litre balance tank below. Without that hidden volume, the surface simply wouldn’t read as one continuous plane.
The spa and lap pool hold identical water levels. Achieving that required exact tolerances and concealed drainage engineered so the spa can heat independently without disrupting the alignment.
The pool shell also carries structural load from the building above. It was poured with a concrete hob wall to support walls that now appear to hover over the water.
Even the grout lines were planned early. They continue from the paving into the wet deck so the transition feels intentional and resolved.
