3️⃣ Most practitioners follow a similar rhythm: waking at dawn, practice, shower, breakfast/lunch/brunch, rest at home, work online, philosophy classes at cafés, therapies or massages, evening walks, early dinner, and bed by 8 pm.
4️⃣ Visit Sri Ramakrishna Ashram. A truly special place with an excellent library (especially Swami Vivekananda’s yoga books), lush gardens, and a large meditation hall. An oasis in the middle of the city!
5️⃣ Many cafés and restaurants are quite westernised. My favourites: Santosha, Organic Café & Bakehouse, Old Green House Café, and TKS Iyengars Restaurant (South Indian food: incredible thalis and dosas).
6️⃣ Explore Mysore. The Palace, temples 😍, local markets, Kukkarahalli Lake, Chamundi Hills, and more.
7️⃣ Good healthcare system. I did my full medical check-ups at Manipal Hospital.

There’s desert as far as the eye can see, many ghats and little shops around Pushkar Lake, and camels walking through the city like it’s the most normal thing.
From the cable car to the Gayatri Temple it is possible to see the city like a living painting, especially at sunset. 🫶🏼
And to this day, I still remember the little dog I fell in love with there. 🥹

Do teleférico ao Gayatri temple é possível contemplar a cidade como um quadro vivo, especialmente ao pôr-do-sol. 🫶🏼

Ah o Rajastão! A capital Jaipur é uma mistura de sensações: calor intenso (bem-vindo ao deserto), cores vibrantes, história nas pedras, contradições, família real e maharajás, cultura única.
A “cidade rosa” 🩷 fica ainda mais pink quando o sol se põe, daí tudo fica num tom lindo de dourado e terracota!
Mas nem tudo é tão colorido assim: os rajastanis são astutos, e suas incoerências fazem parte do orgulho que sentem.

In September, the ghats were still covered with mud after the monsoons. The humidity was high and the heat was extreme… but not for a second did I think about changing my route.
Smiling, welcoming people. The best lassi in India. Sarees in every colour. Stunning temples and universities. Hindus and Muslims sharing space and faith.
Life and death are dancing side by side, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

In my teenage years, I started running and lifting weights. By 18, the gym became my safe space. At 23, I discovered bodybuilding and competed at a high level for 5 consecutive years.
While balancing an intense routine as a lawyer, life eventually called me back to something deeper. My connection to the body led me to reconnect with my mind and spirit - and that’s when yoga found me.
I started practising hatha yoga with Dante and immediately felt at home. My body aligned, my mind calmed, and my soul felt present. I became drawn to yoga philosophy and Indian culture. In 2018, I dreamed of training in India, but the timing wasn’t right yet.
Yoga remained quietly alive in me, even through pauses. In 2025, I stopped postponing my dreams and travelled to Asia to complete my teacher training in Rishikesh - the world capital of Yoga.
My goal was to deepen my personal practice, but I found a strong desire to teach. I love teaching. I was a Law professor even before my Master’s degree. As an immigration lawyer, I do it every day - and now I also do it through yoga.
Yoga came back into my life amidst a crisis and profound transformations. Today I feel ready to share this path with an open heart with you!
