- With - a different take on baby activities - Teaching our girls to be city girls with a day out in Mayfair /Soho (and motivating them for weaning 😂,,
- Finally getting hair done after 7months
- Finally getting in a fitness routine post partum with - but now on hold.

Today we would have been flying out to Mexico for our Xmas and NY break - travelling Tulum and Yucatan Peninsula!
We went to have our pre-travel covid test at 4pm Saturday - and literally we watched the announcement with the nurses after taking our swabs 😂 luckily we decided not to book hotels until the last minute as all had a non-refundable policies!
Of course this is the right course of action, but giving people 8 hours notice for these rules is just..... shit.
I’m sure people would have been mentally prepared if this had been announced several days earlier especially given the false optimism our government gave 1 week ago!
But this takes away from those who do take precautionary measures. We tested negative.
My dad, tested for covid on Saturday morning as he is due to fly abroad for work tomorrow (key worker) - his work flight was cancelled, he was negative. So luckily he gets to stay Home for Xmas - always a silver lining.
My brother had a test (also negative) so that he could move back home for Xmas last week (pre-tier 4) also because my mother is Carer to her younger sister who is specials needs and high risk. As she is living with my parents, it was important to test negative so that her health is not at risk.
And now we have all tested negative and still we can’t be together! So to all my tier 4’s, I feel you!!
