Prepare yourself for an exceptional feast. Using high quality produce sourced from local suppliers, every dish is thoughtfully executed. The Irish Wagyu beef roast was cooked to perfection, beautifully succulent, generously portioned, and full of flavour, accompanied by crisp roast potatoes, golden Yorkshire puddings that were light yet indulgent, and a vibrant selection of vegetables, including moreish parsnips and sweet carrots cooked just the way we like them 🥰.
We couldn’t resist sampling the fish and chips, which were light, crisp, and perfectly fried. The starters were equally impressive, particularly the silky smooth smoked salmon paired with the most gorgeous apple slaw but also the mezze (grilled artichokes, potato croquettes, hummus, feta & sundried tomato dip, flat breads & olives)
No visit would be complete without dessert, so we indulged in a classic sticky toffee pudding and a vegan blackcurrant and apple crumble served with custard — both absolutely mouthwatering 😋
With a warm and cosy atmosphere this makes a great spot for a Sunday roast (veggie options available too) or dinner with friend's and family. There are various events occurring on selective evenings (comedy, cabaret, live music) so a hip and happening place to return to ❤️

We started off with a delicately seasoned salt and pepper calamari complemented by a vibrant Asian slaw such a wonderful combination! followed by succulent grilled chicken skewers paired with a moreish bang bang peanut sauce. For mains we enjoyed a richly comforting shepherd’s pie, and an impeccably cooked sea bream with a light, crisp finish, fennel salad paired with a creamy white sauce and Granny Smith slices.
Desserts were a true triumph, from the iconic chocolate bomb to the indulgent sticky toffee pudding. Forget the January blues and treat yourself to this tantalising set menu 🥰

The meal opened with a delicate tuna tartare and a classic vitello tonnato, followed by perfectly cooked stone bass with saffron and squid. The standout, however, was the impeccably cooked beef fillet in peppercorn sauce, so succulent, balanced, and deeply satisfying, served with crispy zucchini fritti and roast potatoes😋
Dessert was a true indulgence: a light tiramisu, rich chocolate caprese, and a stunning traditional Italian layered cake with sponge, puff pastry, and diplomatica cream..such a special treat 😍
With its stylish setting, warm hospitality, and exceptional food, Sartoria is a place you’ll want to return to ❤️

And let's not forget the panoramic rooftop views, which are truly unrivalled and reward every step of the ascent. That said, be prepared for what feels like a small mountain of stairs and do yourself a favour by leaving stilettos at home! 😂Despite my own brave (and slightly misguided) footwear choice, the climb was more than worth it offering a view of the city from all angles ☺️

The new décor is sophisticated and inviting, beautifully complemented by the tasteful murals by Luke Edward Hall. His artwork adds a sense of whimsy, romance & intrigue to this elegant room 😍
The food was sublime from start to finish with acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen at the helm. A wonderfully fresh seafood salad just as I remember and delicately smoked salmon to start, with a helping of crispy hash browns, followed by a perfectly cooked halibut that showcased just how refined and confident the kitchen is. The standout, however, was the chicken Kiev — a stunning rendition with crisp golden edges, a luxuriously flowing warm buttery centre, and the creamiest, most comforting truffle mash imaginable 😋
Dessert was both delightful and theatrical. The Flamed Date & Walnut Sponge, served tableside and flambéed as expected, was a joy, rich, nostalgic, and beautifully executed. The Mayfair Millionaire Tart, with its layers of salted caramel and chocolate, was equally special and indulgent, a fitting finale to a memorable meal.
Service throughout was exquisite, polished, attentive, and genuinely warm — and the ambiance was undoubtedly dreamy. Modern British cuisine at its best, perfect for a date night or a special occasion. A magical evening, a wonderful place to savour the last meal out before Christmas ❤️
