Zanskar Valley feels like the edge of the world.
No cellular network. No electricity after dark.
Just you, the mountains, and a sky you weren’t prepared for.
Standing there at 2am, in the middle of nowhere,
with nothing above you but the Milky Way, you realize how small you actually are.
Not in a sad way.
In the most humbling way possible.
The cosmos doesn’t care about your deadlines, your city, your noise. It’s just there.
Vast. Silent. Indifferent.
And somehow, that’s the most peaceful feeling in the world.

The Antennae Galaxies are two spiral galaxies in the process of merging, located roughly 45 million light years away in the constellation Corvus.
When they first began their collision, complex life hadn’t yet emerged on Earth. Dinosaurs hadn’t existed. And yet this slow-motion catastrophe has been unfolding ever since, two galaxies pulling, stretching, and tearing each other apart under gravity.
The gravitational interaction has drawn out two long, curving tidal tails of stars and gas, and from our line of sight, they arc into something that looks unmistakably like a heart. No design. Just physics, gravity, and 600 million years of chaos producing something that looks almost tender.
During collisions like this, gas clouds compress violently, triggering intense bursts of star formation. The bright knots and blue regions visible in this image are nurseries, regions where new stars are being born directly out of destruction. Billions of stars displaced. Entire solar systems disrupted. And new ones being created in the aftermath.
It’s moments like these, staring at events of this scale, that make every problem we carry on Earth feel incredibly small. In the grand scheme of this universe, we are a fleeting blip. And somehow, that’s the most freeing thought there is.

The Antennae Galaxies (NGC 4038 and NGC 4039) are two spiral galaxies locked in a gravitational embrace 45 million light years away in the constellation Corvus. They first began their collision long before complex life emerged on Earth. Long before dinosaurs walked this planet. And yet this catastrophic, slow-motion merger has been unfolding across the cosmos ever since, and it is still happening right now, as you watch this.
As the two galaxies pulled toward each other, gravity stretched and warped everything in its path, drawing out two long tidal tails of stars, gas, and dust. And from our line of sight, those tails arc into something that looks unmistakably like a heart.

One of the brightest and most familiar objects in the night sky, and also one of the most photographed.
Yet, imaging it properly has been on my list for years.
This target looks simple, but it isn’t.
I last photographed the Pleiades in 2019. Nearly seven years later, I decided to commit to a proper 10–12 hours of integration and approach it with more intent.
This final image is an 11.25-hour LRGB integration, captured over four nights. Nearly 40–50% of the data was rejected due to hazy sky conditions.
After a long wait and a lot of discarded data, everything finally came together—and I’m quite pleased with the result.

What Hubble revealed in 1995 and JWST reimagined decades later has become one of the most iconic structures in our universe — the Pillars of Creation, towering within the Eagle Nebula.
After years of dreaming about capturing this region, I’ve finally had the chance to image it!
— and here’s my version, from Earth.
This image was acquired over two weeks, totaling around 19 hours and 30 minutes of exposure time using narrowband filters — a first for me. The process was long and challenging, but incredibly rewarding.
I can’t thank enough for lending me this amazing setup, and for his constant support and help throughout the acquisition process!
Processing took almost an entire day — piecing together hours of data into this final image!
