The Youth Futures program invites community-oriented young leaders aged 18-29 from across the city of Toronto to engage in capacity- and knowledge-building workshops, skills and community development activities, and advocacy initiatives aimed at supporting youth in empowering their communities and combatting various forms of disinformation.
IDAHOBIT is a day to both recognize the effects of homophobia, transphobia, biophobia, and intersexism on 2SLGBTQIA+ people, and to pledge support in the face of violence, injustice, and censorship against rainbow communities.
On this day, and every day, Planned Parenthood Toronto stands in fierce support of, and solidarity with, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We will continue to advocate for your rights, your visibility, and your dignity. You deserve to exist free from discrimination and harassment. You deserve love and celebration. You deserve to thrive.
The programs runs from June 13 – December 17, usually on Thursdays evenings from 6:00-8:00pm, but happens occasionally on other days or times. At PPT, Nurse Practitioners work within an interdisciplinary health care team to independently and collaboratively provide comprehensive primary and episodic health care to clients with an emphasis on sexual & reproductive health, health promotion, disease prevention and health education. Our Saturday Clinic appointments focus on sexual and reproductive health care needs but may include other primary care issues.
