We had our annual company conference this week; a chance for the teams across Lind & Lime and Port of Leith to come together, celebrate last yearโ€™s hard work, and look forward. Big plans are already in motion for the year ahead, but first, a team photo. Hereโ€™s to the class of 2026!
Burns Baby, Burns โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ Our annual Burns Night event is over for another year. Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, showed out and danced the night away with us. Special mention to our headliners, the inimitable - what a show.

We have so many more exciting events in the pipeline this year, sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about them (link in bio)
With Burns Night fast approaching, we're highlighting a modern-day whisky maker - one who's shaking up the industry ๐ŸŒŸ.

was started by Ian & Paddy, two whisky fanatics from Edinburgh. From experimenting with whisky production in their garden, they've now created a distillery like no other! It's a distinctive, modern building and is the UKโ€™s first vertical distillery.

Just like the building itself, Port of Leith does things a little differently, integrating every part of the process - from raw materials and working with a local farm in Haddington, to maturation and developing cask partners to import Sherry and Port so they can utilise casks for whisky.

It's a distillery that honours tradition and history while embracing new ideas, continuously trying to push boundaries in the pursuit of flavour. ๐Ÿ’ฅ.

We often say our Table whisky has notes of butterscotch and toffee popcorn - well, this cocktail is the perfect mix of the two ๐Ÿฟ

Popcorn old fashioned
60ml Table whisky (obviously)
20ml Genmaicha Syrup**
2 dashes angostura
3 dashes of orange bitters

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, stir down, and serve with popcorn ๐Ÿฅƒ

** I know what you are thinking..what is this?
Genmaicha is a tea with toasted rice, which smells and tastes like toffee popcorn.

Recipe
Add 200g caster sugar, 200ml boiling water and stir until dissolved, take off heat and add 1 heaped Tbsp of
Genmaicha tea. Let sit until cool and strain and lasts for one month.
