Hi I’m Sarah (Pointermummy) a lifelong animal lover, part-time Company Director & full time Dog Mum! I live in Yorkshire with my husband & our two Pointers & two Miniature Dachshunds & we are lucky to have lots of beautiful walks on our doorstep.
Florrie is the baby of the family. She is an 18 month old shaded red mini dachshund. She is a cheeky little madam. A real mummy’s girl who enjoys a good bark at most things & spends a considerable amount of time in air jail.
Primrose is a black & tan smooth haired miniature dachshund. She is almost 5 years old & is extremely sweet, adores food, cuddles, zoomies, barking at any animal that has the audacity to appear on TV & keeping Miss Florrie in check! She has a few other hobbies but they are far too disgusting to mention.
Teddy just celebrated his 4th birthday. He is an orange & white Pointer & is a big soppy loveable rogue who loves zoomies, splashing in streams & chasing anything that moves but is equally happy curled up on the sofa with his Mummy.
Last but not least is the matriarch of the pack Miss Rubie, an orange & white Pointer. Rubie celebrated her 12th birthday in April & despite having MMP surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate a couple of years ago she copes amazingly well & enjoys weekly physio sessions, running with Teddy, supervising the weenies but her primary objective in life has always been as an emotional support dog. She is extremely intuitive & picks up on the slightest thing & ensures that Rubie kisses & cuddles are administered!
