I MADE IT! The journey of my life has come to an end: that smile on my face looking back will last forever! North Channel, you were a hell of a ride and showed me that I can achieve anything if I keep believing in myself and showed me once more what life really is about: It’s about going out there and try, no matter how scared we are and no matter the outcome!
There were moments out there, when I really thought I can’t take another breath and I know now, what my body is capable of! It has carried me through this for over 20 years now 🙏🏽 thank you, for letting me follow my passion and my biggest dream - to complete the seven toughest swims on this planet!
Waking up to practice every day before doing anything else and missing out on so much wasn’t easy – but I would do it all over again! It makes me very proud that I’ve kept believing in myself no matter what other people said. If you give it your all, the impossible becomes possible! I now get to close this chapter of my life with the biggest smile and happiest heart you can ever imagine! This will be mine forever, and I will be thankful for this experience and achievement for the rest of my life.❤️
And now to you, dear Ocean: Thank you, for the hardest years of my life but also my happiest! You will forever be MY safe space for as long as I can do a swim stroke! ❤️
