GW中で観戦しに来られた方は10000人を超え、大熱狂の中でプレーをするプレッシャーはきっと凄まじいのだろうと思いつつも、なかなか私の競技では10000人に見守っていただきながらということは少ないのですごくうらやましかったです。
また、その状況の中でものびのびと試合を行なっていく選手の姿、PKの胃がキリキリするような緊張感はスノーボードにも似ていると感じ応援に熱が入りました！！！
スポーツの生観戦はやっぱり最高です！ありがとうございました！

本社での活動報告は初めてで少し緊張しましたが、皆様が長い報告をうんうんと真剣に聞き入ってくださりつい話が長くなってしまいました！💦
総合優勝のビブもお渡しさせていただき、2年連続クリスタルグローブを獲得できたお礼ができて嬉しかったです！

私の年齢イメージを大きく覆されるほど、皆様本当にお綺麗でお元気な方が全国から集まられていました。ローヤルゼリーガールの先輩方にたくさんお会いでき、とてもつもないパワーをいただきました！！

Alright, vacation time! I’m going to take a massive break!!!
14年間目標に掲げてきたシーズンは、一言で言えば
「山なし谷あり谷あり」。
毎遠征アクシデントに見舞われ、プレッシャーも多く、
悩んで迷って先が見えない中で決断して、
決して満足だといえるシーズンではありませんでした。
でも、暗闇の最中にあって常に側で一緒に悩んでくれたジートリムスタッフのお二人と、五輪まで一生懸命支えてくださったメトド、
試合期間中、出来うる限りのサポートを尽くしてくださったJapanスタッフの皆さん。
現地スタッフの方がいなければ、今シーズンクリスタルグローブを取ることはできませんでした。
また今シーズンを、この1年を支え続けてくださった、浜松いわた信用金庫、中部電力をはじめとするすべてのスポンサー、サプライヤーの皆様にも感謝申し上げます。
スノーボードアルペンにおけるW杯はとても重要視されていて、毎シーズン、4ヶ月かけて15戦以上のツアーが組まれています。
五輪に出場する選手の99%が出場するため、そのツアーの最終結果であるランキング=総合優勝にはとても価値があります。
20年以上形が変わらない、全選手の憧れであろうグローブを2年連続で獲得できたこと、とても嬉しく思います。
皆様にまたグローブをお見せできることがとても楽しみです！

お伝えしたい思いがたくさんありますが、
まずは何よりも、ここまで支えてくださった皆さん、応援してくださった皆さん、メディアの方々含め、
ほんっっっっとうにありがとうございました！！！
8歳で目標を定め、金メダル候補と言っていただく位置で五輪に出場するまで14年間、本当に長く辛い道のりでしたが、皆さんと一緒だったからこそ乗り越えていけました。
「つばきちゃんが、全力で楽しんで戦ってるところが見たい」と言って応援してくださるような方々です。
そんな温かく、優しく、全力で寄り添ってくださる皆さんに支えていただけて、本当に幸福な競技人生です！

そして今回、五輪を通してスノーボードアルペンを知っていただけた方、初めて試合をしっかり見たよという方、いかがだったでしょうか。ドキドキハラハラしていただけましたでしょうか😆
この競技は、予選で速さを競い、決勝で強さを競います。
コース選択、コース状況、ミスの仕方やミスをする場所。
何が起こるかわからない。見ているだけでああしていればこうしていればと考えてしまうような、
分かりやすくて、奥深くて、最高に面白い競技です。
日本ではまだまだマイナーなスポーツですが、
今回の試合でたくさんの方に知っていただいたり、面白さをお伝えできていたなら/試合を楽しんでもらえていたなら、とても嬉しいです。これが私にとって五輪という大舞台に立つ大きな意味です。

-アスリートとして-
目標としていた金メダルはおろか、表彰台にも届きませんでした。
本当にメダルを持って日本に帰りたかった。ただただ悔しいです。
今まで積み上げてきたものは出せました。
今私が進んでいる道に間違いはないと断言もできます。
ただ、現状培ってきた滑り方では、緩斜面やロール(うねり)が多いコース/ゲートがまっすぐなセットでは無駄が多く、結果的にタイムには繋がりませんでした。
正直、レッド、ブルーどちらを選んでも勝てませんでした。
完全に私の実力不足です。
そして、今後4年間で取り組むべき課題ははっきりしました。
どんなコース、斜度、セット、競技相手でも必ず勝てる。見てて安心感がある。そんな選手に必ずなります。
