Despite everything our children have been deprived of this Eid, and despite the beautiful celebrations they have missed, their small hearts still find ways to create joy in the simplest moments 🤍✨

With their little hands, our children lovingly created an “Eid sheep,” bringing smiles to their faces and holding onto the spirit of Eid despite the difficult circumstances 🌙🎈

We believe Eid is not only about celebrations and appearances, but about love, togetherness, and the joy we create with our children no matter the challenges 💛

Every moment of happiness we plant in their hearts becomes a new source of hope and a beautiful memory they will carry with them 🌸

May your Eid be filled with joy, and may our children’s hearts always remain full of hope. #eid #gaza
This is how our fourth grade students created the Threads of the Sun of Hope ☀️✨

Each child made a wish, wrote their name on a ribbon of hope, and added it to our growing sun. Every ribbon carried a dream and a heartfelt prayer that one day, God willing, these wishes will come true.

A beautiful reminder that children continue to dream, hope, and imagine brighter futures. 💛 #school #gaza
More than a dance. It is culture, belonging, and joy. 💚

Watching our students perform dabke is a reminder that children carry not only dreams for the future, but the traditions and stories of generations before them. #school
Everyday we are inspired by the strength and brilliance of our students and teachers! May their loud and proud voices remind us all that every child deserves to learn, play and dream! #play #school #refugees
Little hands, big lessons. Today our students learned the importance of hygiene through fun, hands-on activities that help build healthy habits for life. From washing hands to caring for our bodies, these everyday routines are powerful acts of self-care and wellbeing. 🧼✨ Healthy children learn, play, and thrive. #school #gaza
visited our students to lead a special lesson on caring for animals. 🐾

Through interactive activities and discussion, children learned the importance of kindness, responsibility, and compassion toward animals and the world around them.

Moments like these help nurture empathy and social awareness, while giving children the opportunity to connect, ask questions, and learn through experience. 💛 #school #animals #kindness
A new initiative at Al-Anqa School by in Gaza City for fifth-grade students!

We taught them how to be kind to animals and how to help them, and we solved some riddles with them about different animals species.

We also brought a cat to help break down barriers of fear and teach the children how to interact with animals.

Special thanks to the principal of Al-Anqa School and for the warm welcome! 🫏🐕🐈❤️❤️
Look at the incredible work of our teachers!

Fourth grade students participated in an interactive “Extinguishing the Fire” 🚒🔥 activity during their English lesson on Good Habits.

Students worked together to “put out the fire” in order to reveal and read hidden sentences, then completed an exit activity by sorting habits into good and bad habits.

The activity aimed to strengthen reading skills, connect language with hands-on learning, and encourage teamwork, cooperation, and social awareness in a fun and engaging way.

New art materials and school supplies for our students. 🎨📚

In every marker, notebook, and paint set is an opportunity for children to learn, imagine, and express themselves freely.
These small resources help keep classrooms alive with creativity and curiosity. #school
The last year has been incredibly difficult for the youth of Gaza. Playgrounds for Palestine has worked diligently to establish our Phoenix Elementary School for grades 1-5. As our students return back to the classroom, we have prepared exciting course work for them. This video only shows some of the amazing programming we do with our students and their teachers.
