Repotted this plant on 25 July. It already pushed out the new leaf and I was so happy that I didnāt damage the leaf while repotting. The last new leaf finished unfurling at the en of May.

I have cut back a lot of plants already over the years, but never a #ceropegiawoodii and it was the best decision I could have made.
This plant was covered in thrips. It was either toss it in the trash or cut them back.

I often get the question: āhow often do you water.... this plant?ā It is hard to answer it, because I got to know my plants really well. So well that I can see or feel when I need to water them. I donāt have a schedule, I donāt water only in Sundayās... I just do it when I feel like the plant needs it. ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā
It is better to under water, then overwater. Both can do damage to your plant(you can see it on this plantš) Try to stay on top of it. ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā

Ask yourself a couple questions:

ā¢ do I spot larvae?
ā¢ how many plants have thrips?
When you figured out how bad the infestation is. This is the next step:
Quarantine the plants, so the thrips canāt spread. Donāt forget to clean your shelf.
The way I treat thrips is with BIOLOGICAL CONTROL AGENTS. If you only rinse your plant of with water. There is a big chance that you do not get rid of all of them and then their numbers will steadily increase again.

Order the Biological control agents you need.

Combine them
STEP 3:
Release the biological control agents and then leave your plants alone for at least a week (no cleaning or spraying leaves, etc.). This allows the control agents to do their work in peace.

Mine; when I was a child, I had one plant in my room. Grown from a cutting from my aunt. I moved out at age 18, to go to college. First week in my new room, I bought two plants. Succulent and a orchid. Those pretty much survived the 4 years. At least the orchid didš ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā
