Every Easter, this is the moment I look forward to most. Not the meal. Not the conversation.
The hour before.

Grocery store roses. That’s it. The secret is HOW you open them
🌹Fold back each outer petal gently.
🌹Then open the center. Average-sized roses become full, lush blooms that look like they came from a florist.
🌹Put them in a clear vase on your vanity. Light a candle. That’s it.
This takes me 10 minutes every Sunday and it’s the part of my week I protect the most. Not because it’s fancy. Because it’s mine.
