Almost two years after our beloved Cha Cha passed, we’ve finally welcomed Pumpkin-Cha into our family

We decided to adopt him because… there were just too many “coincidences” that led us to him.

On Anzac Day, I stumbled across a post about puppies needing rehoming. A lovely senior couple living on a beautiful farm were looking to rehome three puppies.

What first caught my eye was the spot on his back — coincidentally in the exact same place as Cha Cha’s.

And there’s more… they’re both boys, both Jack Russell x Chihuahua, and both born on the 18th 😱
.
There was even another families who had booked to see the puppies before us. Living on a farm in Australia, they might needed a working dog to help guard their home and livestock.

But somehow… all his siblings were adopted before him, and he was the only one left — almost as if he was waiting for us 🥹

And now, here we are. Pumpkin-Cha has completed our family in a way that still feels surreal. After losing Cha Cha, we never imagined our hearts could feel this full again.

We’re no longer a family of two… now we have this tiny, precious soul waiting for us at home every day 💝 🙏🏻
We went to a hot spring to celebrate this day of love~

Even after 22 years together, we still make time to “date” each other,with or without a special occasion.
