El hecho de organizar una fiesta, hacer las invitaciones a mano con dibujos personalizados, llevar chuches a clase, estar fuera del cole con tus amigos y hacer planes fuera de lo ordinario (como que tu padre os recogiera del cole en furgoneta y os llevara al club náutico directamente a empezar la fiesta)… podía pasarme días organizando para que todo fuera perfecto, disfrutar de ese día a lo grande y que mis amigos lo disfrutaran igual o más que yo

Ya un poco más de mayor no había tanta organización pero sí expectación: nunca faltó una barbacoa con mi gente en casa de las que se quedan en el recuerdo para siempre (de estas barbacoas infinitas que acaban en noches de discoteca… en fin 😬)

En estos últimos años, con eso de perseguir mi sueño de deportista profesional y dedicarme a lo que me apasiona, no ha habido tiempo para celebraciones más allá de un postre con un cumpleaños feliz con el equipo o alguna merienda sorpresa después de un día de entreno…

Son algunas de esas cosas que los deportistas de élite “nos perdemos” por el camino, aunque me gusta más pensar que ganamos otras muchas en este viaje de alta velocidad hacia la madurez en la vida y el desarrollo personal
