I found peace of mind I hadnāt known before. It made no sense to redownload.
For several months before that, I had taken multiple trips to various parts of Europe, enjoying the novelty and truly making the most of it. After that, I found myself craving something very different.
I wasnāt necessarily going more inward, but after that period of traveling, I found myself living a much simpler life - with a small, close circle of people, going on long walks, learning new subjects, and taking on painting with a newfound enthusiasm.
I write on my website, āThe deepest joy of life comes from the appreciation of existence itself.ā
During this period, I was really able to experience the truth of this sentence. I took on this very painting to capture that quiet stillness, filled with an underlying sense of peace.
On a late-autumn day, warmth and chill mingle, and the trail ahead fades into deep blue mist or frost - I canāt quite tell which one.

In the past few years, I have changed my studio spaces quite a few times, but now I can confidently say that Iām really happy with my current studio. I plan to stay here for a while to create tons of new pieces of art.
Often, when moving to a new environment, I notice a shift in my painting style.
When I first started out as an artist, I was painting behind a tiny desk at home. The lack of space in my room and on my table was also reflected in my paintings. My brushwork felt reserved, radiating a lack of confidence - at least thatās how I feel when I look back now.
After moving to my first proper art studio, with a spacious room and great equipment, my confidence as an artist grew tremendously. My brushwork became a lot more expressive and bold, similar to how it is now.
My current studio is also spacious, with big windows that let in tons of daylight. Iām almost certain itās going to have a good impact on my paintings as well. š

I find it very internally rewarding to express myself on the canvas: whatever Iām thinking about or whatever emotion it is that cannot really be described with words. š¤
Thereās so much reason for doing art, even if some people reading this might feel they lack time or talent for it. Yet, thereās still so much value in practicing, even just every once in a while, and doing it in a way the artist themselves would find beautiful and internally rewarding. š
