In this 15th-century cloister, Pierre Bonnefille’s intervention unfolds through a deliberate sense of reduction and anchoring within the space.
A monumental work from the Bronze Paintings series enters into dialogue with two sculptural bronze seats from the Rhizome series.
Beyond their formal expression, these works engage with memory: light, water, vegetal — elements that appear almost fossilized within a centuries-old architecture.

We are delighted to take part in Bel Ouvrage Venezia, a curated exhibition by Carole de Bona bringing together artists and designers around the body of matter — Il Corpo della Materia.
On this occasion, Pierre Bonnefille presents a minimal intervention: a monumental Bronze Painting in relation with two sculptural Rhizome benches in bronze, inviting the visitor into a meditative encounter with material, light, and time.
