Lors dâun footing, jâai trĂ©buchĂ© et je me suis retrouvĂ© projetĂ© au sol, me fracturant plusieurs cĂŽtes de la cage thoracique. Une Ă©norme dĂ©ception au vu de lâinvestissement de cette annĂ©e: des mois dâentraĂźnement, de discipline et dâimplication sans relĂąche, et la forme qui commençait tout juste Ă revenir.
Devoir sâarrĂȘter sur un incident aussi banal, câest frustrant. Mais câest aussi ça, le sport: des hauts et des bas, des moments de gloire et des moments oĂč tout sâarrĂȘte. Cette annĂ©e, jâai cumulĂ© les pĂ©pins, souvent au pire moment du calendrier.
Je vais prendre quelques jours pour dĂ©cider si un dĂ©part aux Championnats du monde 70.3 en novembre reste rĂ©aliste⊠ou si la saison sâarrĂȘtera aprĂšs seulement quatre courses.

Season over already? đ€
During an easy run, I tripped and fractured several ribs while catching myself. Such a huge disappointment after the massive work Iâve put in this year, months of training and discipline, and I was just starting to feel good again.
Having to stop because of such a small incident is frustrating, but thatâs also sport: highs and lows, glory and setbacks. This year has been full of challenges, often at the worst possible moments.
Iâll take a few days to see if racing the IRONMAN 70.3 World Champs in November is still possible⊠or if my season ends after just four races.
