Take a stroll along the lakeside boardwalk and youâll discover our natural riparian habitat stretching along the shoreline. As you enjoy the view, youâre likely to spot a variety of native species, including western skinks, loons, beavers, and the Bufflehead and Hooded Merganser ducks. If those names sound familiar, youâre rightâweâve named two of our restaurants after these remarkable birds.
On the patio of the Hooded Merganser restaurant, youâll not only enjoy an unobstructed view of Okanagan Lakeâcradled between mountains and stretching 136 km up the valleyâbut also dinner and a show. With a front-row seat overlooking the marina, you can watch ospreys perched high above, swooping and diving to catch fish and other prey.
