I’ve been awake between 4-5am every day so it’s not like I’ve slept in 😬
I’ve literally just been in auto pilot and have either gone for a run or headed straight to the gym.
This morning though knowing I was taking part in a #hyrox sim, I had the opportunity to head to the beach just before 6am and I’m SO glad I did.
It was BEAUTIFUL😍😍
I’ve shared more photos on my stories so go and have a look and see just how nice it was 🥰🥰
This trip has been EVERYTHING I wanted it to, EVERYTHING I needed it to be and so much more.
I’ve loved every single second of it and I cannot wait to go exploring on another adventure sometime very soon.
My final post from my adventure in #Bali then and it’s a special one ☺️
Happy Saturday everyone
#balisunrise
Coming into 2025 I had no intentions of going back to Bali last year but things changed and so I made the decision in July that I would come back again.
This trip was always going to be different to last year and so I spent a full month training at #bambu under the watchful eye of and his team.
It was so good to catch with up and again as well as Will and so good to meet and the other coaches.
This place is a special place.
You don’t get many places like Bambu which is why I spent so much of my time there.
The coaching is top level and I loved the classes I took part in.
I also got a lot of running in which was important to me and got a fair few weight training sessions in as well.
Every morning I was there between 06:30-07:00 and I looked forward to waking up every morning knowing I was gonna have a great session.
I love what they done with the place and I’ve made it no secret that this is my favourite gym to train in worldwide.
After visiting back in December of 2023, I said then that I’d definitely return again once day.
Well after my 2nd visit I can 100% say again that I will be returning again.
If you ever go to Bali and in particular #uluwatu or Bingin, please go and visit the gym.
Join in with a class, have some food in the cafe, spend some time in the chill out area, but go and visit the place.
Only then will you understand why I love the place so much and am so grateful to the guys there
Will, thank you again for your hospitality and for making those 4 weeks incredibly enjoyable and very worthwhile.
The very best of luck to you and your team in 2026 and I hope Bambu continues to shine and continues to be hugely successful.
It was absolutely worth it.
I sat there for a good 40 minutes and just watched the sky change colour many times over.
I see a few planes coming into land and I watched as the local kids splashed around in the sea and the local fisherman had their time trying to catch dinner.
For me it’s always been the best part of the day (closely followed by sunrise)
To be able to witness views like this is just amazing.
Sometimes the photos and videos I share don’t do it justice as all.
I’ve been back in #Sanur now for 3 nights and 2 of those I’ve witnessed some of the best #sunsetviews I’ve ever seen.
Life is so fast and life can be so stressful so for me it’s been important to take some time out at the end of the day and just switch off, relax and enjoy the view.
I’ve got the chance to see just 4 more sunsets this week before flying back on Saturday evening.
This trip really has been everything I wanted and needed it to be snd more.

These AMAZING legends looked after me SO well for the entire duration of my time in Uluwatu which is why I spent 26 out of my 28 days there at #Bambu.
These are some of the greatest people I’ve ever met and I have SO much love and respect for each and every one of them.
Every morning I was greeted with smiles and a good morning.
These people you see here are just so humble, so genuine, so lovely and I’m so grateful to met every single one of you.
Yesterday was a sad day as even though I’ll be back again, I may not see all of these people again.
is like my home away from home.
I know I can always go here and always be made to feel at home.
It’s a VERY special place this and I truly loved every second of my time here
The only disappoints are that it had to come to an end (for now) and there weren’t more photos to take and share.
To Will and the coaches - THANK YOU
To Aaron and the operational team - THANK YOU
To Nata and the front of house team - THANK YOU
To Andi and the f&b team - THANK YOU
To for ALWAYS being on hand - THANK YOU
To everyone that made the last 4 weeks at Bambu so special for me - THANK YOU

The first few days of that trip were tough going as I literally spent so much time in my own.
Since those first few days though back in the summer of 2022, every time I’ve come back to Bali and everywhere I’ve travelled, I’ve met people.
I met only a few days ago after I’d just finished a #hyrox class and looked like a sweaty mess.
We were talking all things Hyrox and he was telling me how he’s not got the bug for it and loves the training involved.
Dave is an English guy living in #newzealand and so took part in the Hyrox event in #auckland last year.
Yesterday we partnered up for the Hyrox class and we smashed it.
Again I was a sweaty mess of a man but I love the feeling of getting a good sweat and working so hard.
Training out here has been so good for me and I’ll feel so fit and so conditioned right now.
This place brings people together especially at.
I met so many great people whilst I was there and know that any time I go back I’ll be welcome with open arms.
Really did enjoy every single training session, every single class and loved getting to meet and speak to so many people.
The very best of luck with your next race mate and your Hyrox future 💪💪
#hyroxtraining
has literally been my ‘home’ for the last 4 weeks.
Every single morning I arrive, take a seat next to the jacuzzi and have a slice of banana bread and a pre workout shake.
I then go and train, do a bit of work, eat some food then chill out here 😍😍
For 26 out of the 28 days in #uluwatu I’ve spent at.
For 26 of the 28 days I’ve been here I’ve been in and out of the pool and in and out of both the #icebath and the #jacuzzi.
My recovery has been on point 🎯 because of this.
No DOMS, no aching muscles, no tiredness and only 2 days rest.
I’ve absolutely LOVED my time here and feel the most chilled and relaxed I’ve potentially felt in my life.
Tomorrow I will share a post as to why that has been but being here and spending time here has been absolutely brilliant for me.
I spoke to one of the owners this morning and he asked he how I was doing today.
My answer was that I was feeling sad 😔
Sad that today is my last full day here.
Sad that today is the last chance I’ll get to relax, chill out and recover here.
Sad that today is the last day I’ll get to see the majority of the amazing staff that run this incredible operation.
However it’s only the last for now and not forever as I will definitely be back again.
When right now, I don’t know but I will be back.
Thank to EVERYONE who has been so kind and so welcoming during my time here
.
I will miss you all very very much 🫶

I’ve now partnered up with the team as one of their #athletes and I could not be happier.
-
I wore their kit flying out, I wore their hoodie Saturday evening before smashing the #britishrecord in the #mensrelay and I wore their top yesterday in the #mensdoubles.
-
2 races, 2 PBs, 1 flag and 3 medals is a pretty good first weekend since being part of the team.
-
This for me is a massive honour and I’m truly excited for the journey ahead.
