My article out today is about life as a solo parent. For many like me who have had to parent alone, the reality of it can be such a challenge that you can't see a way out to stay sane. I found my way out through education and taking the help when it was there from my sister, close friends and my local community centre.
The early years of parenting three children are a blur to me, but I got through it and I am very grateful that I can provide my children now with what they deserve.
To all the solo mams and dads out there, give yourself a pat on the back and be proud of yourself for doing the best you can.
