Some of you might remember back in 2019 when I asked the public to help me find my biological father.
Thanks to DNA testing, I was able to find him and I just gotta say.. I lucked out because not only is he a great man but he has welcomed me into his world with open arms.
I was excited to hear I also have a half brother who’s a year older and crazy enough… shares my name, Michel (prounouced the exact same as his mom is also French Canadian).
Getting to know Michel, his wife and daughter have been one of the highlights of my life. We share so many similarities including being fluent in sarcasm. The first time we met, he sat down at the table and said “I was born first so you’re gonna have to change your name”.
Very grateful he was able to make the wedding and finally meet the other side of my crazy fam
This year has been a weird one for me.
 I made some big changes in my life, like getting married and moving to Texas which has been great but also I had a significant setback that I wasn’t expecting like remembering much of the accident for the first time.
Extremely grateful for my husband, Texas Family and my therapist as they have eased the PTSD.
Like always, on the day, I am so incredibly grateful to be alive, to feel love and to be loved and to experience this world for all its beauty with yall in it
