I created this doll sculpture with an antique miniature cabinet I was lucky to find some time ago.
The doll’s bust was made with papier-mâché, gypsum and clay and is covered in 18th century French genealogy documents. Along the sides of the cabinet, golden flowers have grown, they seem to have been fossilised by time.
When you open the little doors of the cabinet you will discover a beautiful crystal hidden inside a world of ancient words, protected by the hands that hold it...

Thank you to all who have adopted my Seapots!
These pieces were inspired by my love for archeology and especially the kind of history hidden at the deepest parts of our oceans.
I came up with the idea to make my own deep sea archeology collection of ensouled teapots after watching the Dutch documentary “De Jurk en het scheepswrak”
(The dress and the shipwreck) about the 17th century dress that was recently discovered by divers in the wreck called “het Palmhoutwrak” off the coast of Texel.
All my Seapots have now found homes 🫖🌊

New Pieces 🫖
Dear all,
Yesterday I released a small collection of new pieces named “Sea Memories”
It consisted of three ‘Seapots’ and a doll’s cabinet inspired by treasures hidden at the bottom of the seas, often perished during shipwrecks.
Everyday items from centuries ago, now gently taken by the hands of salt and time.
The Seapots are an ode to the worlds hidden in the salty depths, ensouled by the spirits of yesterday.
This is the final Seapot that’s still looking for a home and is titled “The Beloved”
Who were they we may wonder, the lovers that once drank from this pot together…?
I made these piece with a vintage teapot, gypsum, string of pearls, fossil, a sea shell, crystals, clay and antique handwritten papers
