🥇 Taro 🍠 Coconut Latte
(80% sweet, less ice)
Creamy, smooth, and nutty with real ground taro. Our favourite drink at Chatime! Coconut milk is actually the best milk alternative in our opinion, despite our default usually being oat milk!
🥈 Matcha 🍵 Zen Trio
(50% sweet, less ice)
3 layers of premium Japanese matcha including
silky matcha pudding base, Japanese premium matcha latte topped with a creamy matcha creama cloud. Matcha wasn’t super bitter and the pudding was definitely the best part!
🥉 Brown Sugar Coconut Latte
(50% sweet, less ice)
Loved the chewy brown sugar caramelized pearls and coconut milk combo, but this one was too sweet for us. We recommend 0% sweet since the pearls are already sweetened.
🥭 Mango Green Tea
(30% sweet, less ice)
Made with real mango purée. Prominent green tea flavour but the mango flavour was more subtle at this level of sweetness. We recommend 50% sweet to taste more of the mango.

You can do caffeine-free or Jasmine green tea base. We opted for tea flavour. It tasted like a Japanese peach gummy in slush form! Very sweet for us and we found it too icy as we’re personally not fans of slush.

Our go-to Avocado yogurt flavours here are their Strawberry 🍓 Avocado and Pecan Avocado 🥑 drinks. Both super creamy with one whole avocado blended with yogurt! Super satisfying to drink, the pecan one is thicker and sweeter so we recommend 70% sweet. We typically go with regular sweet for strawberry as the strawberry would be tart if you do less sweet!
Their latest item - Plain yogurt in a bucket is free with any drink purchase! It’s a creamy thick drinkable yogurt. We enjoyed the smooth texture of yogurt it wasn’t too sweet and gently tangy taste which was well balanced.

Fresh Press Coffee Bar is a great neighbourhood stop for coffee and treats tucked away in Alderbridge Way. The small cafe has very homey and cozy vibes and the owner Jenn was super welcoming!
They serve a big menu of specialty coffee and cafe drinks including matcha, tea lattes, smoothies, and an assortment of baked goods including cookies, cake, and pastries. Their cookies and mochi are made in-house, with limited quantities available daily. Also find coffee beans from local roasters here for sale as well.

Our favourites were the French sablé, almond shortbread, and earl grey shortbread, followed by the almond cookie. The shortbread cookies were buttery, not too sweet, with a nice crumbly texture.

We tried Earl Grey ☕️ and Matcha 🍵. Super soft and chewy, with the earl grey mochi being our favourite! Highly recommend this.
🧀 Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($8.50)
Creamy cheesecake, not too thick in texture.

🌰 New Pistachio Latte ($8)
A bold dose of coffee with a strong, flavourful espresso base, topped with pistachio bits for a nutty finish.
🍵 Matcha Strawberry 🍓 ($8)
We found the drink to be on the icier side, the matcha flavour tasted a bit too dilute due to the ice, and the strawberry puree could be a bit sweeter to complement.
That said they have plenty of other specialty drinks on the menu that we want to try!👇🏻

Good tarte balance from the strawberry puree and smooth tasting matcha.

Creamier twist to their regular matcha but we thought the tiramisu flavour was quite subtle and more on the light side.
🍫 Nutella Banana 🍌 Pancakes 🥞($14.25)
Soft, fluffy pancakes with Nutella sauce on side to drizzle on top.
🍓 Signature Pancakes 🥞 ($14.25)
Classic super fluffy soufflé pancakes with fresh banana, blueberry, and strawberry. Some of our fav pancakes as it’s so soft in texture.
🍛 Curry Udon ($14.50)
Japanese-style curry flavour was hearty and tastes good with soft udon noodles. Adding an onsen egg for $1.50 made it extra creamy.
🥪 Pork Katsu Sando ($11.50)
Pork was on the leaner side but very crispy. Thick fluffy bread, the fatty part of the katsu was our favourite part.
🥞 PS. We tried their classic menu lineup since the new pancake menu was not yet available during our visit!

Their booth is open daily at the Shipyards Christmas Market in North Vancouver. The best part is that it’s free admission, making it a great spot for trying out popular holiday food options, local vendors, live music, ice skating, and Christmas light displays.

Japanese Cream Sandos
When Indigo drops the grumpiest romantic 🥰 today. Paris 🇫🇷 themed Timmy Turtle 🐢 with a heart ♥️ shaped shell 👀. He’s part of the Valentine’s Day 2026 collection. It was already released in Asia but not yet available in Canada until today.
Early release 👀 at all Canadian 🇨🇦 locations today Dec 14th including Indigo, Chapter, Coles, and Indigospirit. Can’t believe Richmond Centre was part of the drop, they usually don’t do Jellycat releases except for the Maple Leaf drop.
P went to before mall opening to check on lines and they were already open at 9:40am when the mall doesn’t open until 11am. Pleasantly surprised that there was no line and plenty of stock! He was the first customer to purchase at Richmond Centre location 😆.
Limit to one per customer while quantity lasts. Still plenty of stock when we checked around noon today.
Price is $90 + tax (super hefty price tag we know 🤯🤯) but super cute so we couldn’t resist 🫣.

RUN DON’T WALK - IYKYK Jumbo Mango Mochi has been trending in Vancouver! Half and Half just introduced an upgraded version of Mango 🥭 Mochi that is life-sized and looks exactly like the real thing 🤯. It’s currently a secret menu item 🤫 but we couldn’t gate keep this for longer!

They’re a commissary kitchen in Vancouver that just newly opened. Only take-out options available! They’re also known for their Premium Asian Fusion Bentos.

🤔IS IT WORTH THE HYPE?
Yes 100% worth the hype 💯. We would definitely order this again! The mochi is so soft pillowy texture when you bite into it. The cream is light and the mango is super fresh with natural sweetness. The pomelo did not have a bitter after taste and the sago is perfect to pair!
