In 2005, my wife and I decided to buy a home in upstate New York, which led us to relocate to Saugerties. We fell in love with the mountains and nature of the area, making it a perfect place to raise our youngest children. Alongside my main work, I took on various side jobs to broaden my experience.
By 2010, my eldest son Henry had returned from college, and with the experience I had gained, I felt ready to pursue our dreams. This was the start of Paint Xperts. In 2022, Henry moved to South Carolina to expand the company, leaving my youngest son Edgar after returning from the United States Marine Corps to lead the business in New York with me. I take pride in seeing my sons following in my footsteps and continuing to showcase quality craftsmanship. It’s rewarding to know that despite starting at a young age, they have learned the value of hard work and perseverance.#entrepreneur
Growing up in Rockland, New York, I began my career working alongside my father in construction and painting at a young age. During my school years, I focused on studying graphic design, video production, and the arts, developing a keen eye for detail and quality.
Upon relocating to upstate New York, in 2011, my father and I founded Paint Xperts with the vision of establishing a reputable brand. Our goal was to create a company capable of sustained growth by prioritizing consumer services and delivering exceptional quality work that exceeds expectations.
Today, residing in Greenville, South Carolina, with my wife Brenda Leal and our two daughters, Sarah and Edna, we continue to uphold the same principles and dedication that led to the establishment of Paint Xperts SC in 2022, providing quality service to our valued clients. #entrepreneur

Ever since I was young, I harbored a deep desire to become a Marine. At the age of 17, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps right after graduating from high school. Throughout my Marine Corps journey, I served as a 0311 rifleman, facing numerous challenging training exercises and deployments that tested my mettle. It was during this time that I internalized the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment.
I discovered my true calling in leading others and fostering structure within the organization. Drawing upon the values, leadership skills, and structure instilled in me by the Marine Corps, I applied these principles to enhance the efficiency and organization of our business. #entrepreneur
