Our home is for sale 😍🥹 5 years in this dream home and there’s just not enough time and space to share every part that I love. From warm natural light during the day to golden sunset evenings, big windows connect us to nature every moment. The singing meadowlarks in the field and perched great horned owls as we pick fresh berries from the garden. Heated floors on cold winter days and a luxury shower that occasionally turns into a miniature splash pad for the kids. Life moves a little bit slower at home and this beautiful place has been the backdrop for so many incredible memories. 🤎

Vibes of the week look a little like this - meeting sitting on the beautiful new hardwood floors, fabric samples scattered about, product photos scrapbook style. I’ve been working with this client for several years on their home renovation, and with that now complete, they feel ready to tackle furnishings throughout. I’m loving the moody color story that is unfolding!
4 Signs You Might Need a Designer….

1. You’ve collected more than five paint sample cans and somehow none of them feel right.
2. You’ve returned more furniture, lighting, or décor than you’ve actually kept, or made a dozen trips to the store still searching for “the one.”
3. Your partner is giving you the “we’re only doing this once” look… and you suddenly realize you’re not actually sure about your idea anymore.
4. You’ve tried everything you can think of, yet your space still feels unfinished or just off.

Feeling stuck? Our Designer On-Call session is a one-hour consultation in your space (residential or commercial) or virtually from anywhere.

We can help with:
• Paint color decisions
• Finish + product recommendations
• Furniture layout + styling tips
• Resources, referrals, and guidance to get your project moving again
…and more!

Book your consultation easily on our website. Let’s get your space feeling right!
A long while ago I mentioned that floor plans for my home (and soon other options as well!) were now available for purchase, but I didn’t yet have a platform for easy check out and instant downloads. After many months of letting it sit behind the scenes, I finally decided to get this set up using the tried and true Etsy marketplace that I am familiar with! You can now access the shop from my website menu, and grab your very own copy of our floor plans, with options for 3D models and editable AutoCAD files. If building is in your future for 2026, kick start your project with these ready to grab files! ✅

Well friends it’s been a minute since I last posted! But I got these photo updates of a project I worked on earlier this year and I was just so happy to see how beautifully it’s progressing. The integrated sink in Taj Mahal is just 🤩

I have taken a solid hiatus from posting on social media for the majority of the year and honestly it’s been so nice to let go of the pressure of content creation when the reality is I just don’t have the capacity to wear all the hats in business - from social media management to bookkeeping to email marketing and all the other “extras.” I’ve been using the extra time to find balance in my personal life outside of work, spending more time away from social media and focusing on my family because the reality of the kids getting older so quickly hit me quite hard. I now have a 4th grader and an almost 4 year old, and even though we homeschool (another hat this mama wears!) I don’t want to miss a beat in their lives. And sometimes, they don’t want to miss a beat in mine, which means an occasional meeting with my daughter curled up under the showroom table reading a book and eating a snack, or a toddler who wants to tag along and browse the tile or paint store and show me all his favorite colors.

Being a business owner is still one of the biggest blessings to have the flexibility in my schedule to meet not only my needs, but also my family’s needs. To be able to take a day off mid week when I’m caught up on work and go pick apples at greenbluff. Or take a pause from work in the afternoon and read books with the kids in the garden or run through the sprinkler. It’s not always perfect, but it sure beats the 9-5 that I could never find happiness in.

To find balance in our lives…even as business owners, even as moms, even in a society that tells us to fill each day for progress and hustle. Making the conscious choice to no longer subscribe to that. So, I may go missing for a while again, because for once this Virgo no longer has a content calendar or a goal for increasing email audience or some other metric to feel obligated to. 😅 🙌🏼

A fun little update and offering!

We’ve always offered virtual consultations, but the big news is, they are now a separate service listed on our website, and we are offering them at a lower price from our regular on-site consultations! Virtual consultations save a ton of time and resources, so these will be a permanent fixture to our services page! We hope the lower price point also makes our services more accessible financially, as well as physically for those who do not live local to Spokane.

One more big thing! Since we eliminate driving time with virtual consults, I am also now offering a few select appointment times from 5:30-6:30 pm, for those of you who need an after work hours option!

So stay cozy at home and still manage to check off your task list as you prepare to start your next project. This service is now available and ready to schedule online from our services page! ✔️✔️✔️
When we think about our homes being a safe haven and place of comfort, we probably don’t imagine respiratory issues, carcinogens, neurological problems, hormone and endocrine disrupters, allergies, cancer, reproductive development and health problems, air pollution, and more. We’re diving deep into detoxing, because quite frankly, we deserve more than having homes full of this.

We deserve more than the lies we’ve been told for years about the products we buy and their “safety.” We deserve more than being drug down by heavy metal toxicity, formaldehyde and VOC’s off gassing, and plenty other hidden poisons grossly deemed as “safe” in the majority of our products. From our clothing to our skin and beauty care, to our cookware, furniture, and more. We deserve more than having sick homes and a sick environment – sick air, sick oceans, sick soil. We deserve more.

My personal journey to eliminate toxic products in my home and my body started in 2014, almost 10 years ago! But the seeds actually started back in 2012 when I studied LEED for building design and became certified through their exams for designers! Being a curator of homes, I have realized it should be something I share more about. So, let’s start talking about the things in our homes that aren’t actually safe.

This topic is one of those that I could probably talk about for ages because I’m so passionate about it! I’ve helped many friends and family transition to more toxin-free lives. If having someone guide you through a home/body detox plan specifically for your lifestyle and situation, let’s chat! Our virtual or on-site consultations can focus on this topic exclusively if this is your goal. Just let us know when you book – “HOME DETOX PLEASE!”.

When I did my consultation promotion back in January, every one of the appointments had great feedback about their time, but so many of you also shared that you had NO idea that I offered hourly consulting services! 😬😅

Sooo it’s now my mission to share this more often, because I absolutely LOVE consulting and sharing my time in this way! The hour is jam packed with information catered to whatever design challenge you are facing.

They can be booked anytime on my website! Just look for “designer on call” on our services page, and I’ll also keep it linked up in my bio! 🔗

We have a big month ahead of photoshoots, so there’s just a few appointments still available this month - we can do virtual as well!
