برنامه پروژه نشان میداد که دو طبقه آخر قرار است بهصورت یک واحد دوبلکس مستقل عمل کنند؛ واحدی که میتوانست از نظر شیوه زندگی، مقیاس و کیفیت فضایی با طبقات زیرین متفاوت باشد. همین تفاوت برنامهای را به ایده اصلی پروژه تبدیل کردیم: ویلایی دوبلکس، بر فراز یک آپارتمان شهری.
نما بیان مستقیم این تصمیم است. بخش پایینی منطق تکرارشونده آپارتمان را حفظ میکند؛ اما در طبقات بالایی، معماری به خانهای با حیاط، تراس و کیفیتی ویلایی تبدیل میشود.
برای تحقق این ایده، با همکاری تیم سازه، مسیر ستونهای نما در طبقات فوقانی مورب شد تا حیاط شکل بگیرد و فضای باز به بخشی از هویت خانه تبدیل شود.

The project arrived at our office with its skeleton already partially built. How could we turn this constraint into new possibilities for living?
The program revealed that the top two floors were intended to function as an independent duplex unit — one that could differ from the apartments below in terms of lifestyle, scale, and spatial quality. We made this programmatic difference the project’s central idea: a duplex villa, sitting above an urban apartment building.
The facade is a direct expression of this decision. The lower portion preserves the repetitive logic of the apartment; but in the upper floors, the architecture transforms into a home with a courtyard, terrace, and a villa-like quality.
To realize this idea, in collaboration with the structural team, the facade columns in the upper floors were angled to carve out the courtyard — turning open space into a defining part of the home’s identity.

در شرایطی که پروژه با فضاهای کانتینری تعریف میشود، معماری
چگونه میتواند همچنان به طریق خود در خلق فضا فعالانه عمل کند؟
در این پروژه که در یک زمینِ رهاشدهی شهری تعریف شده بود، ما واحهای طراحی کردیم که بتواند در نبودِ زیرساختهای شهری، خود خالقِ منظرهی مطلوب و زندگیِ جزیرهایاش باشد.
با چیدمان کانتینرها بهگونهای که فضایی مابین خلق شود، آنها را با یک گلخانه ساندویچ کردیم؛ بهطوریکه زندگیِ گیاهانی که در حال پرورش هستند، منظری سبز و طبیعی برای کسانی باشد که در کانتینرها در حال صرف غذا هستند.
این سبزینگیِ مولد جایگزینِ سبزینگیِ دکوراتیوِ چمن میشود؛ چمنی که با نظامِ آبیاریِ غیرمنطقی، بهطور سنتی پاسخِ حاضر و آمادهای برای ایجادِ منظرِ زیبا بوده است.
همچنین هوای مطبوع و خوشبویِ داخل گلخانه از طریق کانالهایی بادگیرمانند، بهشکلی کنترلشده به درونِ کانتینرها دمیده میشود تا ساختارِ معماری همچون یک کولرِ آبیِ عظیم، هوایی را که در گلخانه خنک و مطبوع شده است، در اختیار کاربران بگذارد.
طراحیِ همهوایِ کانتینرها از اشباعِ رطوبت جلوگیری میکند. در نهایت واحه کانتینر تلاشی برای خلق یک میدان مینیاتوری شهری است؛ جایی که مونتاژی از برنامهها شکل میگیرد تا به عنوان مقصدی برای خانوادهها، پرورشِ یا خرید گل و گیاه، صرفِ غذا و بازیِ بچهها را در کنار هم قرار داده و ساندویچی از رویدادها بسازد.

Container Oasis is located in Mehestan, near Tehran. We were asked to turn a leftover plot of land into a livable place for the neighborhood using four shipping containers. Our concept proposes an oasis consisting of a greenhouse sandwiched between the containers. In this configuration, we replace the typical lawn with productive greenery, which is common in the city. The pleasant air from the greenhouse is carefully distributed into the containers using in-line fans. Container Oasis explores new architectural potentials for urban leftover spaces, where new combinations of common spaces create unprecedented value.

معماری به طور معمول و تاریخی به شکلی سنگین و ساکن به روی زمین مینشیند و قلمرو خود را تعریف میکند. با این حال کم نیستند فضاهایی همچون چادرهای عشایری یا ایدهپردازیهای ارکیگرام درباره شهرها که فضا را در نسبتی موقتی با زمین تعریف میکنند. جایی که معماری به جای سکون حرکت میکند و قلمروهای لغزان و موقتی را تعریف و بازتعریف میکند.
سایهبان قدم به قدم، آزمون چنین نسبتی با زمین در سطحی خرد و مقیاسی پیشپاافتاده است. جایی که بخشی از برنامه یعنی درست کردن قهوه میتواند از موقعیت اول خود کنده شده و همزمان با خارج شدن از مغازه، سایهبانی پدید آورد که قدم به قدم با باریستا راه میرود و با پوستی به نازکی یک پارچه قلمرویی موقت و تازه خلق میکند. رفتاری که با پوشهای قدیم شهرهای کویری بیارتباط نیست. پروژه سایهبان قدم به قدم یا کافه رستوران سهرا، آزمونی برای تشخص بخشیدن به برنامه در فرم و کشف ظرفیتهای تئاتریکال آن در مقیاس کوچک یک کافه است.

چگونه میتوانستیم بین فضای معماری، فرشها و اشیا یک رابطه یکپارچه برقرار کنیم؟ ایده ما تولید فضا با خود فرشها و جای دادن اشیا در دل آنها بود.
ستون-فرشهایی آویخته از سقف که از بیرون منقش و پر رنگ و لعاب و از درون سفید و جایدهنده اشیای امروزی باشند. بعضی از ستون ها از یک و بعضی از دو یا سه فرش تشکیل میشوند. جهت بازشوی ستونها متنوع است و همچنین بسته به نیازهای آینده منعطف و قابل تغییر در نظر گرفته شده است. ستون فرشها با ستونهای سابق ساختمان که از دل بازسازی بیرون قرار گرفته بودند همصدایی میکنند و بر خلاف نمایش معمول فرشها از یک پرسپکتیو ثابت، بازدید از فرش تجربه ای توام با حرکت و فضامند است که با بازتاب آینههای اطراف کامل میشود. در کنار این هویت کلی، نمایش گلیمها نیز به صورت آویخته و نمایش اشیا با اقتضائات نمایشی دیگر در انتهای گالری نظر گرفته شد؛ همچنین برای محافظت از فرش در هنگام نظافت لبههایی در پایین قرار گرفت.
این گالری برای ما، آغاز تجربهای برای یکپارچه کردن معماری و محتویات آن و همچنین تولید فضا بدون ساخت و ساز بود.
